It doesn't seem that any 10-series are in stock on the website. Don't know when they will be back, sorry.

Step up allotment is separate from Vendor allotments and store allotments. When they get a pallet of say.. 200 GPU's.. Then they will be split up. Only a few will go toward step up, some will go to EU, some will go to stores. If you take a few minutes to look around the step up section, you will see more than a few people over 4 months. Your title is not catchy, so it can be easily passed over, and that may be why there was a lack of response.

Just had my step up go through this past week and I sent out my 980 Ti Classified on Thursday. Started my step-up mid to late July (can't remember the exact date, and the email is gone) for the 1080 ACX 3.0 model. You'd probably get more of a response in the Step-Up forums: http://forums.evga.com/EVGA-StepUp-Program-f34.aspx

Came back to glance at this one after replying earlier and noticed it wasn't in the Step-Up Forum, so it has been moved over now.

While I can appreciate the Step Up program and it being a nice gesture. Waiting 3-4 months I find completely unacceptable. A month or slightly over should be at most the longest time one would have to wait. This is an area EVGA really needs to improve the program and get cards to customers much quicker. Or just do away with it completely if they have such a major issue making customers wait for months on end. After all. These are "current" customers waiting in queue. They should be taken care of ASAP.

I'd rather have the option. This go round is rougher since supply is low and demand is high. And the supply of Pascal is dictated by Nvidia since they're the ones that produce the GPU die. Since EVGA has to wait on Nvidia's shipments of GPU dies, that's the bottleneck.

I did my step up to a 1080 around June 1st. Its been over 4 months. I understand if EVGA has a supply issue but I have been incredibly disappointed in this. I honestly thought 1 month tops at the extreme. We are well beyond ridiculous in time frame at this point. If EVGA has such an issue with the Step-Up Program then they may need to change it or remove it all together. Been buying EVGA Products for years with great support and nothing but high praise for the company to family/friends of which I build around 8-10 Custom PC's a year. This whole experience has really left a very sour taste in my mouth

Same for me as well, over 3 months of waiting time is pretty bad. I appreciate the idea of step-up, but the experience has been poor for me as well.

I understand your feelings, I waited for three months, before getting my step up. I first applied for step up on 5/29...for the reference ACX 3.0 card (6181). Within a month or so, I received an email that I was being upgraded to the SC version (6183) at no additional cost. The wait ensued. Now, in August, I received another email that due to issues with SC stock, I could immediately go to the front of the queue, if I wanted to revert back to my original choice of the 1080 ACX 3.0 (non SC). I chose to wait another 10 days before I figured that the SC stock was extremely limited and perhaps was not going to be available until October or later. So in the first week of September, I emailed Chris B about the offer to go back to ACX 3.0 model. Within minutes, I received a reply that the offer still stood and I accepted the offer. Within 15 minutes, I was at payment step and within 6 days (would have been shorter, except the fact that the Labor day weekend didn't allow my 980 TI to be delivered until Tuesday). All in all...once I made the decision, the process was fast, easy and EVGA was great about everything. I have nothing but praise for them. Now...with all this said and done, please make note of bullet point 4 in the Step Up process: 4. Wait in queue until approval - this step can last from a few days to many weeks depending on demand The key words here are "Many weeks" and "depending on demand" I recall that on 5/29, my queue position (when still visible) was something like 903. That meant that 902 other people were waiting in the queue before me. Mind you...the 1070 series hadn't been released yet, so these were all 1080 step ups. If you did June 1st...I can only imagine where you were in the queue Leonisas. I am just stating fact that the 1080 series has been in incredible demand since day 1 and it doesn't seem to ease up. It is rare that you find 1080 stock in the EVGA store. Other places like Newegg, Microcenter and Amazon seem to have stock, but for various reasons. The price gauging on Newegg is insane, for most 10X0 products. Other brands like MSI, Asus, Gigabyte, Galaxy and more seem to have stock...but the demand for EVGA is outrageous...why? After sales service and attention to customers. I understand your point of view...but no one made promises as to the timeline...not to me, nor to you. They are doing what they can with the stock allotted to them from Nvidia. Want to pick on someone...try Nvidia...who keeps the stock limited to keep the prices high. It is 4 months after release and Nvidia is still playing games. I hope this takes some of the bitterness out of the taste. I made the right decision, for me, to go back to the 6181 model. For the first time, I won the silicon lottery. I have a card that, with overclocking, will outperform any SC or FTW that is overclocked. My headroom is larger, and I have outscored many FTW or SC that are not on water. Is it really worth waiting for the SC? Just my two cents and thoughts. I hope it helps in some way. Best of luck to all in the queue right now...maybe Nvidia will wake up and smell the coffee.

Hello The Hoorider and welcome to the Forums!
I am sorry it has taken so long for the Step Up process. The demand for the 10 series cards has been very high but we set aside stock for Step Up's as new shipments arrive and we are replenishing stock as quickly as possible. Depending on the model you are Stepping Up to the queue may be longer than others. We try to remain as fair as possible in this process.

I've been waiting about 3.5 months now. I'm angry and disappointed but there's not much I can do. I'm not willing to take the loss on selling my 980ti so I'm just going to wait it out. I will not use this program again.

I probably won't use the step up program again due to the wait of many months. Its not worth the money savings to wait for 4 months for an upgrade when I could have sold my GPU on eBay and bought a GTX 1080 4 months ago.

Depends on whether or not you can afford to take a $200+ hit on the 980. If so, then I get it. Still a lot of money to waste.

I did a step up from a GTX 960. At this point the number of months I've been waiting is worth the $50 hit I'd get for selling the GTX 960 on eBay. I'd pay or be willing to lose $50 to have a GTX 1080 4 months sooner. I also could have bought another brand of GTX 960 for less money and sold it on eBay for less than a $50 hit and still have a GTX 1080 sooner. THe 4 month wait and the lack of a lifetime warranty on newer graphics cards makes me wonder why I buy EVGA graphics cards now.

I chose EVGA based on the Step Up Option but this has gotten ridiculous. Offered a 1080 SC version to expedite the step up then wait .. wait.. wait.. and then tried to get me to step back down so I would not have to wait for the SC. This will not be a factor in my next purchase decision.
