There's a spot to search by passkey, but I don't know how granular it really is.

Is there a way to research the PPD output for  the EVGA Passkey I borrowed for this CC?  I opted to use a pre loaded passkey so I could go straight inot SMP folding but I don't see how I can track my production for the CC.  Any help is much appreciated, Thanks

The link that drougnor gave will get you the combined stats for everyone using that passkey.  There is no way to break it down further.  Unfortunately, if you want to track your own production on Stanford's site you have to use your own passkey and reprime it with the EVGApes name.

Seems weird but cool that so many people now have a 0 24 hour folding average.
Cool because i see who is dedicated to the cc effort.
This is # 2 for me, started just in time last year to fold cc for evga.
I went full out this years and last year and will next year for evga with whatever we do.
Just want to say thanks to all that made it happen.

Jast bigadv will be dropping in 2 hours. Will switch to regular when it does as another biggie will never finish in time.

Like this,( if you use your own )  but it will not show anything on a machine that does not have a passkey,

Hey guys I had a problem last sunday where my video card went down and I had to get a new one on monday morning. I was down about 12 hours but have still folded everyday. I had 3 wu's fail is this going to affect us and if so how does that affect my prize eleigibility, like I said I have still folded every day. I only quoted 15k a day, but have been folding anywhere from 19k to 23k ppd.

I'll finish the last CPU+GPU WU for EVGApes tomorrow morning and then switch to my ordinary cycle. Hope we'll reach 120.000.000 folding points by the end of the competition.
Next place is 10.752.824 points away from us by the time of posting :)

Same here...holding on for the 120,000,000 mark. My 5th and final bigadv dropped this morning and I figured I throw in some last vanilla SMP's for good measure.

If you miss 150k because of folding for the Chimp Challenge, EVGA (I think Jacob) said they will make some exceptions this month.

on another topic but since I wasn't sure I just taught I would post here again.

If someone would pleas let me know how I can go about doing that it would be grate! Thanks.

ETA 4h to  fourth and last bigadv WU. I know there is a way to switch to smaller smp WU but didn't use fah gpu tracker that long. should i just uncheck bigadv or do i need to remove advmethods as well?

Finally, does anyone know what was the last year's CC FP total?

Yes, just uncheck -bigadv.

I just checked Oneunit mode for my CPU/SMP client, then once it ended I then unchecked the -bigadv box and the oneunit box.  Upon restarting the CPU/SMP client it switched to regular SMP WU's.  I'm been knocking those out quickly, but have no idea how many points it'll add up to.  Each one seems to be about 13-15K PPD, but I have no idea how many points they are earning for the EVGApes.

If it is anything like last year ; at the end of CC, switch back to your own name and fold away until the end of the month. If you mis a mark, that you have tradtionaly hit, and missed it by an amount that appears to be less than you folded for EVGA at ( IE the # of days you folded for EVGA apes, timed your PPD, than PM shane and ask for an adjustment. If you make your mark anyway, no adjustment is necessary, and if your folding history does not show the probability that you would have reached the mark, no adjustment would be given. This information is just based on past procedures, and actions, I have heard nothing offical, note his contact is under :

Finally, does anyone know what was the last year's CC FP total?

I don't know the exact answer to your question, but you may know that last year the CC was first team to 20 million. Therefore the points total was a lot smaller than this year. The Apes had about 30 million for the entire month of May if you look on the EOC page. Whatever the total was for all teams, I bet it was passed in the first two or three days this year. The pace for the CC has been amazing, truly a hardware marathon. I feel like it's been the world's longest overclocking contest.

Intel i7 3770K @ 4.5 Ghz. / Asus P67 Pro / 2 x EVGA GTX 980 SC / 16gb Corsair Vengeance RAM  / 2 x Crucial 64 gb. SSD / 1 Tb. Seagate / Corsair AX 850  / Corsair H100

Intel i7 3930k @ 4.3 Ghz / Asus Rampage IV Extreme / 2 x EVGA GTX 980 Ti SC  /  32 gb Gskill Ripjaws RAM / 256 gb Vertex 4 SSD / Corsair AX1200i / Corsair H110i GT

I second that!  I am fairly new to overclocking, but after almost 10 days of CPU/GPU folding 24/7 I no longer worry about stability

Re:Official chimp challenge 2011 thread 2011/05/15 02:10:38 (permalink)
just for fun, I ran some numbers to see how we were doing.
As of ~1:30 AM PDT the leading team has 126 CC points.
Based on the numbers posted by Barbarossa at the beginning of this thread, EVGApes would  have needed to put up 275.8 Million points to be even with the leader. We currently have 115.8 M = 41.7% of the number we need to lead. That sounds bad, but is it?

Our 5 month baseline for this contest was 2.189 Billion points. Five months is approximately 150 days, so our baseline would be about 14.6 Million per day. Given that we are approximately at day 9.5 of the contest, our baseline production rate would have been 138.6 Million at this point in the contest. The CC stats page shows us with 115.8 Million = 83.5% of the baseline used to calculate our Chimp Point numbers.
A few more quick stats before I reach the point. Of our Top-100 Folders (per EOC) 23 had WUs in their own name, the Top 101-200 31 in their own name, 201-300 36 in their own name, etc... Now, I'm not saying they should have switched, that is their call, but I wanted to know what impact that is on our CC numbers.
(Note: I did not do a tally of points, just who was in the Top 300 for EVGA). That is an average of 30% of our team folding in their own name.   That means in turn up to 70% (probably lower) of the EVGA Team actually produced the CC contribution this year.

Conclusion, those of you who participated really stepped up to the plate. Less than 70% of team members (based on Top-300) produced  83.5% of what the ENTIRE team produced on average. That means the EVGApes in this CC are producing 19.3% more per day than would be expected based on averages prior to the CC. Would it be enough to compete for the number one spot? No, because if I did the numbers right, we would have had to have a 100% increase in production, but it shows we're trying despite the odds being against us.  Remember 19% of EVGA's production is more than a lot of teams' entire daily production.

I want to say thanks to you all! It looks like every EVGApe came in trying their best despite the flaws in the scoring system. I'm proud to be on the same team with you! We got a lot more proteins folded in the CC, increased awareness and smaller teams are hopefully growing. I'd say we're winners by any measure for being part of that.

...and if you look at each of the other CC teams top 100 list at EOC, there's a lot more red (people folding for themselves) on every team.  Our Team's participation and ability to stick till the end is very obvious when you look at our page.

Re:Official chimp challenge 2011 thread 2011/05/15 05:40:43 (permalink)
Lets just say with 100% team folding across the entire CC we would be in third wit 95.579 chimp points, with the lead team at aprox 130 Chimp points, to compete as a team we would have needed 133 % of our team folding. and every poing going to the contest. or you could say If EVGA's entire team had folded at 100% and were given a 5 day head start as to allow all points for the month to count we would have won, wit 138 chimp points. so even at 100% participation, each of you would have had to increse production by 2/3rds. Our particapation was about  57% of the team, and I suspect some of that was because some people did the math before the contest, not after it. also, you will always have a cretin % that will never be team players. I am proud of our team, not for what they accomplished, despite that being amazing as well, but because they stepped up to the plate and did it anyway. Most with full knowlage of the outcome before the start.
My pass key alone is on pace to earn 1 Chimp point through the contest for the team, with 3 hours left.

Personaly I felt like winning wasn't an option, but particapation a mandate. sometimes you take one for the team. and yes I'm one of the ones with a few points under my name for the contest, some were a BIG adv miscalculation, the rest started a few GPU cliants, that were actualy started before the name change, so they kicked in after I stoped SMP, once it no longer had time to complete a big adv.

Finished the CPU + another GPU WU and there are still 5 hours left. The GPU can do two more WU before the end of the competition.
I'll switch the CPU back to regular because there is simply not enough time to complete the WU it started...
117.990.268 folding points atm.

Kmoore4318 - I didn't have any expectation of us winning going in. I still chose to be in with the team even though it was clear the system would put us at a major disadvantage. It's my 3rd CC with EVGA and if we do a 4th, I intend to be there for it too.

I think when this is over we should look at the final numbers and do a bit of analysis. It will help us learn a few things about our own team production, but above all it will give us some good data points for when the captains of the teams meet to discuss why this year's CC was bad and what needed to be adjusted to make it competitive. Maybe next year will see a completely different system, but regardless of that, I'd like to see some learnings as a result of this year's CC.

Also, I only did a quick scan of the top-300. I didn't check that everyone in there was an active folder (some aren't). The % folding under their own name went up the further down the list you got (people wanted to make their monthly points?), so your number of 57% overall doesn't surprise me.

Hats off to you for producing 1 CC point for EVGApes by yourself!

3 more minutes and the last GPU WU for EVGApes is done and still 15 minutes left until the competition ends. Let's hope we'll break 120 mil. FP! Right now we have 119.754.438 FP.

And the contest ended...still waiting for the FP update.
