Punchy l337h4l This is why the handicap should be applied against yourself as a team in real time not previous production. The race is more realistic ATM with for example: CBC @ 46% of the folders folding under CC Name Maximum @ 49% of the folders folding under CC Name EVGA @ 57% of the folders folding under CC Name OCN @ 87% of the folders folding under CC Name ChimpPowerUp @ 93% of the folders folding under CC Name HWC @ 97% of the folders folding under CC Name ECT... you get the point this is how the Handicap should be and HWC would still be in the lead Shows teamwork to get everyone switched over... Great Work HWC 97%!!! Don't know where you got these numbers, but I see on EOC stats that 18 out of HWC's 72 active users had points in their own names today. That means only 75% switched. Not that impressive to me - 75% of 72. Was talking about Points production not individuals

42,859,180 for EVGApes! Very impressive. I'm staying till the end, not that my little bit is helping much. But I have pushed harder then usual and put out almost twice what I estimated in the signup. So I am reaching my personal goal! I've had to stay away from chimp chat. I can't stand the EVGA bashing every time I look there, and I don't want to say anything to make the team look bad. Anyhoo way to go team!! Keep up the good work!

They only bash us because the wish they were us, Is what has happened fair, NO, but isn't it always the group in charge that takes it in the end, and gets the bashing, do the best you can do, follow your heart, let Karma, God, or whatever you believe in sort it out. it's easy to be gracsious when things go your way, but it shows real character, when you step up, while others are whining. or you take slake for it. let them have their day, because if it wasn't for our good heart they would never have one. We can be big enough to share some cake, even if the cake is a lie.

I just noticed that OCN has just about passed HWC for 1st place. I read somewhere that a points adjustment was made to even the CC out for all teams. What's the skinny as the only team benefitting from what I see is OCN. Anyways, I thought all CC Teams were 10% of team avg for one Chimp point. Yet the 1st place team seems to need much more than that for a Chimp point now? This Green Monkey Trophy is meaningless this year, IMO. Just fold for points, they could have drawn a winner from a Hat and it would have been fairer.lol.

I guarantee next year, I will not be doing the Chimp Challenge. For a challenge that would have been better decided by a random number generator, I could have put the points to use on my own account and kept the power bill down. I'm going to stick it out to at least the 10th, but I know I'm losing interest in the contest. To me, the inter-team challenges are more fun. This, this was not fun.

We have a great PPD output which says a lot about the individuals who are participating from our team so suck it up and stop being sore losers people.... What the stats show me is that EVGA has a more active folding community outside the competitions, whereas many of the others have people that most likely only fold during the CC. This is why we do not have a huge run this year, because most of us already fold with most of what we have year round (or at least as much as our wallets can justify).

I have to admit I'm glad they looked into things as the contest was being won not by a team that unified best or got the most new folders but the team that got existing folders to join them for 10 days. On the other hand I'm not really liking saying that we aren't going to participate next year. A handicap of soets was needed and I believe this had good intentions, but was exploitable. Next year will need tweaking and I think before we (as individuals and as a team) need to consider the work put into this by the organizers...all of whom are volunteers.
