AT&T came today to help me can Comcast, didn't affect folding they setup while the system was working units, and I was back up in time to send work, they could not get it to work with my sysco T10/T100 router, so they gave me a netgear giga switch, so far so good, and no down time, installer is still scratching his head, and looks a litle dazed, his first solo install, and 4 HD TV's and 6 computers plus a wirles notebook, and two networked printers, he's loving it

Well when you are as large of a contributor to the EVGA as I was a few years back in 2008 and your sitting at home watching TV and the phone rings... "Hi this is Joe Darwin and Shane at EVGA" and I am like WTH?? HUH??? "What is this folding thing all about and how can we help?" So I spent a while on the phone explaining everything and they took it from that point to push the team into what we have made it today. The Folding shirts were a 1 time run because they have to run like 5,000 shirts for a discounted price, I asked about last year and CC champion shirts which was a no go and then tried to get permission to use EVGA logos to create our own shirt but legal never got back to me.

Is 5,000 shirts the minimum order, or just the minimum to get a discounted cost? I ask this because what if the EVGA Folding Team members were willing to pay a higher price for the opportunity to get a shirt from a lesser order quantity? For example, the cost for a run of 500 is let's say $20 vs $10 for a 5,000 shirt run. I pulled those numbers right out of my Chimp hiney, so just for example. Anyway, would something like that work? I'd even be willing to pre-order if EVGA needed to make sure they sold a certain qty.

We might as well give up on the whole shirt talk. This topic has failed on so many attempts over and over. We have been asking for shirts for over a year now to still not have one F@H shirt, hoodie be provided to us.

Is it just me or has half the team stopped folding? Our points went down by 3 Mill/PPD over the last three days?! Have we given up and conceded or are we pressing this to the end? My little 60K/PPD isn't much but I am still going full bore thru the 15th if were still really trying. I know were killing all but OCN in total points so you know they messed up in the points scale for us to be this far back in CC points. We need to be rolling at full strength if were gonna even get close this year, and even that may be a pipe dream based on the points scale.

I don't know how to measure the amount of people that are still putting points into the EVGApes 'naner bucket. I'm sure some had to fall off as happens to the other teams too, but we are still strong IMO. We are still maintaining our lead in overall points thanks to the people that have been able to "stay the course" and even some new-comers that keep popping in.
There is no doubt that we can't win the overall Chimp Points with the competition as designed. Interestingly, I think some of the other high-points producing teams are also feeling the affects (like OCN). In some ways, I think it was actually good for us to have already gone through the handicap disappointment, work through the ill feelings and then recover to keep on going as a team.
I'm staying with it to the end for the Team, to help maintain our Total Folding Points achievement and of course to be a part of this massive production effort for Stanford. Most people that are posting here are staying the course too.
Go Apes 'til the end!!!

Ohhh... there's no stopping before the finish that's for sure! And you exactly right about the primary goal, but it would be nice to defend the title and bring the jade monkey back to EVGA again this year. It just seems numerically impossible which is disapointing by a factor of 10 to the 10th power! We should be rocking this competition if it weren't for the "handicap".
