I just wanted to stop by and say good luck from OCN. It will be interesting to see how this new format plays out for all the competitors.

I've switched over my clients. I also installed an 8800GT that I have in my folding rig so that should add another 5k PPD on my total.

asus939 k why does it say 4 hours 43 minutes and counting here https://sites.google.com/site/evgacontests/home The timer was set up a year ago before the exact start time was known. It has been updated to reflect the official start time. I also posted the timer on the CC front page and sign up page!

I just look at HWC CC-2011 Stats page for the correct start time. The timer on our Stats page shows 6 hours less here in the Netherlands, because I think it's a google timer and shows the local time.

Our own stats page is up on the contest site: https://sites.google.com/...vgacontests/team-stats (might be a little funky until the contest actually starts) You can sort by Chimp Points, Chimp PPD, Folding Points, Folding PPD across the bottom. (Yes, CP & CPPD and FP & FPPD provide the same sort order). Let me know if there is anything else you guys want to see for stats.

djkisfree Looks like I may not be able to participate in the challenge... I'm stuck out in the Midwest installing POS systems for a restaurant chain and was expecting to be back home today, but one of the projects put us behind by a week. I tried to walk the GF thru changing over one of the clients and that did not go over well. Hopefully I'll be back in time to give the Apes a couple of days worth of points but don't count on it. If my name needs to be removed from the list of participants so be it, but I'll still contribute if I can. or you can have gf install the free logmein desktop -- fairly easy -- and then take remote control of your machine. you can even create the account yourself..i always have my home computers on this and can be accessible from anywhere, even WOL.. @see https://secure.logmein.com/

Troy, the site looks fantastic! I've just turned on my hourly history tracking, both online at my google site and offline on my home pc, and will zero both out after the 3:00PM update (3:30 ish). Gotta hit the hay, but I'll try to sneak away to check on things during work, and will definitely pop on for a little bit tomorrow night! Gotta get in on the early trash talk!!

Just added my gtx480 back in the fold. I hadn't folded on it in a long time b/c my room would get too hot, but for the CC, hell yea. That and my 2 gtx260's should be around 25-30k ppd for the EVGApes.

Murphy sucks. Sometime just after I went to bed last night, my main folding/gaming rig that I also had set up to run the stats on died. The fans were powered on, lights glowing, but no one was home. Powered it off, tried powering it on, no good. And I have no time to fix it until I get home. I only hope it was the PSU, because I have a spare of that....Nothing else, however. That's my 570GTX rig! The good news is I was able to spit and duct tape a backup of the stats into working order on my secondary machine.

Well, the brief postmortem I was able to attempt - front power and reset don't do anything, but the on motherboard buttons did - The board powered up, lights and fans came on and hard drives powered up, but nothing beyond that. Narrows it down to (har har): - Motherboard
- PSU
- CPU
- RAM
- Video
I can test PSU and Video easily tonight, the rest will have to wait until Saturday when I can get the space to start swapping parts. I have another AM3 mobo I can use to determine CPU health and partially RAM health... Friggin Murphy! Just goes to show the importance of backups and making programs easy to modify for situations like this. Fortunately, I HAD put those into place.

2 consecutive updates of greater than 700K . That's a great effort considering that we're still almost 8 hours from start . If we can get that just a bit over 1 mil/update, we could walk with this. Absolutely stunning Apes. Sean
