I personally wear the Rainbow Dash headphones everywhere I go, I rarly get bothered about them, but when I do get noticed i've realized most react like they have found a long lost race of people or something, it's rather funny to experience.
I have yet to encounter a "hater" of the show who has shown themself to me however.
But I shall be ready when the time arrives.

You guys are trying so hard to be counter-culture, that you are the established cultural norm now.  The same things happened to punk, goth, emo and other subcultures. I have zero issue with "brony" people. My issue is with the marketing machine that is raping your wallet without you even caring.

I would be quite happy if everyone enjoyed the show. I have spent a grand total of $25 on pony related things. Unlike all those other things, MLP:FiM has a message, one of kindness and friendship. Honestly, that is what matters.

Have you ever had a girlfriend and bought them a gift on valentines day or Christmas? Did you do any Christmas shopping this year for anybody? Have you ever been to a gaming event or convention? Then you are also giving into the culture marketing machine. With goth, emo, brony, scene, hipsters, and whatever else. It was not the marketing machine that created them. It was people wanting things that related to them and the "marketing machine" seeing this and making things for them to buy. Only with the "Big ones" like gaming, anime, and sports, Those were crated by "the marketing machine" and people flocked to them. Those cultures are crated by the big machine, While the other small ones were created by the people and the machine put out stuff for them.

Tbh, most people that 'hate' don't really know what to say, or are to much of a (Edited out for language) to really stand up and say anything to you, because they know they really don't have any ground to stand on. There is NOTHING wrong with expressing what you like. However, if I ever see a furry, or brony that's going around bothering people, I WILL say something. Because it's people like that, is the reason we are 'hated' so much so to speak. Also the internet, the internet is the main reason why we are hated.
