From the screenshot, it looks as though you are running two monitors. I could be wrong, but I think you can score higher if you only run one monitor while benching. One other thing I do is set my resolution to whatever the bench runs at. I run a DELL 27" UltraSharp at 2560X1440 for gaming and most all else. But when benching, I set the desktop to whatever resolution the bench runs at. Not sure if this offers any gain, but I do it anyways.

doorules Beautiful looking blocks bud, that will help the score some for sure. Thanks, and ya, I love HeatKiller blocks. CPU and GPU. But as far as the clocks go, I hit the wall running on air. I am at my voltage limit. Only way higher is with BIOS flash/voltage tweak. Do I have to remove one card to do the BIOS flash? Or can both cards be in the PC at same time? Regardless of what I set the memory at, I seem to only be able to hit +165 (1236mhz) on the GPU. I have run FS successfully on several runs with memory at 3700mhz-3741mhz. But at those speeds, the best I could get out of the GPU was +155 (1226mhz).

Ya, I flashed mine for higher volts, always do You don't need to remove a card if you wanted to flash them, but make sure you backup the bios on them now in case you need to flash back for rma reasons. I just take them out of sli, remove the sli connector (not sure if this is needed but I do it anyway) and flash them one by one, only a few seconds for each after you have made the new bios. I used this one... no issues here at all with it http://www.overclock.net/t/1340182/online-600-series-firmware-modifier-version-0-7

The cards are 04G-P4-2686-KR with 4GB mem and the EVGA backplates. When I removed the stock backplate, I noticed EVGA had applied thermal padding on the core and memory backside. Seeing this and being I am using the HeatKiller backplates, I figured I better use some thermal padding also. I used Berquest Gap-Pad 3000S30 padding, and had to go as thick as 4-5mm over the core and a couple memory chips to make contact. As far as thermal transfer goes, it seems as though it is working as the backplates get very hot to touch when at high clocks. What I am wondering is if I am actually hindering the cooling by having the padding so thick. It is only applied to exactly where EVGA had it. I dont think it is holding me back as I can hit the same limits I hit on air.

If they had it there I would like you want contact as well with the padding.

I have two scores for this bench, one with my everyday gpu OC and another with my max (hope of being stable for the duration of the run) OC. The cpu/sysmem OC is the same in both (3.89/1556). In both runs, the power target was exceeded so some amount of throttling must have happened. michael-evga ---- i7 875k @ 3.89 ---- (1) 670 FTW ---- 1306/7128/xxxx ---- 135%/+135/+460 -------- P9891 -------- Air http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/6401062 michael-evga ---- i7 875k @ 3.89 ---- (1) 670 FTW ---- 1267/6840/xxxx ---- 125%/+95/+325 -------- P9663 -------- Air http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/6400861
