Thanks but thats just a little tease.I made a couple runs with 930 core clock but my battery back up is crapping itself.I have to get a new one before I really crank it up.
Just for benching, you may want to go directly to the wall. Those backups sometimes have line regulators in them, which sound really great when reading it on the box, but will choke down the total power available, and leave your rig begging for more juice. I'd go straight to the wall for benching, and then back to the backup after you're done.
By the way, what backup are you using that can even keep up with what you have??? I had to scrap mine ages ago because it almost melted, lol.
he doesn't have to go to the wall, he just has to move the computer from the battery side to surge side, UPS's have plug ins for both (at least mine does anyway)

Ugh... i hate you guys. Now instead of being productive and doing things that I have to do I'm going to be overclocking.
Started doing some stress testing at 4.3+ GHz last night... CPU clocks and oddly enough GPU memory speed seem to be making a big difference.
It's funny because prior to my GTX480s I haven't really gotten any benefit from overclocking the video ram.

Start Vantage with lower clocks and work them up. Keep records of everything that you do.

Not that I need more competition, but do you want to disable one of your cards and run in 2x SLI just to see how you stack up against Sledge?

Your CPU plays a big roll in GPU... I am willing to bet your CPU OC isn't as stable as you think it is. I ran intot he same thing... 15 hours stable on Prime95 but when in Vantage it would lock up. Finally broke in and gave it more voltage and the CPU stopped locking it up.

I haven't messed around with the new tool yet, but on 1.125v I can hit roughly 875MHz.
So let's say I push the voltage up to 1.2v.. what do you supposed I could get out of this card... 930-940?

Try deleting the Vantage cache files. C:\ProgramData\Futuremark\3DMark Vantage\cache They may be corrupt.
