So I think im getting pretty good scores for not being at 4.4 on the proc and 900 on the card.
If I could stable it all out id go higher...

Oh yeah, I know.
to get to 875 core I have to raise my voltage to as high as AB will let me.
To get above that i need to use Eleet. I cant seem to stable out 900 core even at 1.15 volts. I havnt pushed much higher then that yet.
Oh and im on water so dont worry about the temps ;)

Eppo without raising voltages you will not get above 900. Raising voltages will raise the temps of your card. Be very carefull.

Yes, be very careful.  One of my vregs popped @ 1.15v just doing light testing.  Folks can't get away with running high volts for too long I think.

Finally got my card back from RMA and added another from the egg.  Early testing with 2x480's...crappy cpu score.  I just figured out, after much head banging, to set the voltage for BOTH cards....Duhhhh!

Need to figure out how to get > P49k....that's what I did with my GTX 295's, and if I beat them, I'll be happy. And of course I'd be happy if I catch Sniper, but he's looking tough to beat, lol!

Q nice mate ...... Just out of interest what PSU are you using ??...for me to run high clocks i found the easys't way was to run 3 PSU's !!!.... yes 2 would work but for consistency 3 gave me the power and eliminated that out of the equation

Hummm...interesting.  I'm just using one, my pcp&c 1200w.  I'm not experiencing any shutdowns or such, but maybe I'll hook up my TT650w power express PSU and see what happens.  Voltage needs to be pretty high I see when running SLI, but the 1200w seems to be ok.  Maybe I'm right at the limit....I'm sure I'm above 1200w...just gut feel.

Is there a good way to test power draw?  Free software somewhere that works good.

Nice job Q56_. Q, I got the cheapo Kill-A-Watt meter. It gives you some idea from wall. My PCP&C 1200 went nite nite with SLI 480's (That PSU had some high miles on it ). Now I'm on my second Atec 1200OC errrrr.

 This is not as high of an OC you guys are hitting, but again it might give an idea of were your at. You can see how much from SLI stock to a low/mild OC the power jumps. Post #3, I did stock tri's.

Thanks CKY!  I didn't see your thread from before...very informative.  I would think I'm pulling close to 1200w, but probably closer to 1100.  My quad-sli 295's did quite well with this PSU, and per your tests use more power than 2x480's.  I'm probably ok for now, until my PSU gets older. 

It's 7 mos old, but I punish it bad.....real bad.  In fact I've never run it for any length of time in an idle state...always full load, bench after bench.  The peak power printout that came with the PSU says it tested at 1346.2w.  Heck it has a 7 year warranty....I'm going to need it!
