I've been using the 258.49 Quadros with modded INF for a few weeks now with no real issues. I will give these a go and report back and hopefully with better news than the rest of you. Update: Driver install is 5x5, will go do testing and report back... Update 2: Welp, so far crash central here also. I've tried several known working cpu/gpu settings with 258.49 and nothing but crashing/lockups during the cpu tests, graphics all pass with no errors if run separately. Fir that matter, the CPU tests also pass more often than not by themselves. I'm not sure what to think just yet, will test a bit more but may go back to 258.49 in the end for now.

Did you use Driver Sweeper or similar? Always when first booting into Safe Mode, delete the VGA entry in Device manager, then empty recycle bin (I use Crap Cleaner, and registry fix also). Then use DS and then reboot, install as normal, hope that helps.

It is finaly back up. I will test it tomorrow before taking the Beemer out for a couple hundred mile ride through the Colorado and Wyoming mountains.

BTW, why does the fluid near your res at the bottom right look brown?

It's a little late at this point I guess, but here's the result after my 3rd RMA.
I have finally have cards that run perfect at stock -- and OC very nicely as well.

I'm pretty pleased at this point. If I could keep my CPU about 5 degrees cooler it would run at 4.2 GHz no sweat and net me another few hundred.
I'm also going to try 4.2 without HT on and see if it nets a few more since less voltage is needed.

BTW, why does the fluid near your res at the bottom right look brown?
It is a dark red but I had not filled the loops when the picture was taken. Each loop is split into 3 sections. The base or radiator section, the pump/res combo section, and the componet section. I now drain the componets by spliting the Quick Disconnect between the Radiator and the componets, adding the nessary tubing and using the pumps to drain that part of the system. The rest of the system stays full of fluid.

I just need cooler air now. Who knows. Maybe my i7 860 can handle more than 4.2 with HT off. I'll have to fiddle some more!! But yeah, I finally have stuff that works. It's a great feeling.

I just am working up slowly. I need a link to Eleet 1.7.2, 1.8.0 is crashing on me. current clocks are 1700/1900. I will try higher ones after the computer is properly set up. Windows was screwed when the board crashed.

If it cools off enough tonight I will bench. At 90f the cooling dosent work real good. Summertime in Colorado.
