Nice job and good looking setup. Oc'ing with SLi is a different animal for sure with the GTX 480. Think I have more fun oc'ing just one GTX 480.

by the way the water cooled temps on these card are incredibley low, at 100% my temps go from 42 to 53. my 280 gtx hc ran warmer than that, but i did add another rad to control the temps. reading these forums no one seems to be praising the OC'ing these card reach. a 725 to 900 OC is huge(almost25%) whereas my 280 even comparing to a 601 vanilla card could only reach 720(less than 20%).

Yes, i agree even with ATI 5970 the OC increase is amazing ( 725 to 1050 ) but I use a chiller with water at 15/20 to freeze my quad :) but even with water @ 20°C each GC grows up to 55°C

I am able to pass vantage at 1800/2200 on air with afterburners 1.138. With SLI I can manage 885/1770/2175 @ 1.14 without crapping out. I don't use evga eleet at all as I have found I can't run the same clocks with it and afterburner enabled. So I just type the voltage I want into afterburner and hit enter, I see no reason I would need to go in acess of 1.20. Oh and thanks KRAM for the kudos on the system been a long time setting up and about $4500 later. It's pretty plain but it gets the job done.

Use Precision instead of Afterburner if setting voltages with ELEET. EDIT: Don't forget since you're running 2 cards EleSSaRBLS, that you need to use the drop down menu in the video card voltage section of ELEET and set each cards voltage.

Gov, work on getting the gpu clock higher and lower the memory. You're killing the gpu score running it this way and upping the cpu score which doesn't give a better total score.

Hi kram, killing the GPU score, how so? If you've worked with this long enough you'll know that 1790 is about the limit of the max GPU vcore of 1.138 and the mem speed is also at it's limits now with some artifacting in "Jane Nash" and a little in the beginning of "New Calico" tests but after that it about disappears. A bit of a voltage boost would most likely take care of that. I don't typically run the mem that high but with my limitation of GPU vcore, I compensated with a higher than normal mem setting but usually run 2280 and no higher. After a long day fiddling with Eleet, I've come to the conclusion that many also have here in that it's not worth it due to it's buggy nature and conflict with other apps, AB, NV Inspector etc. so I'm sticking with AB for GPU vcore adjustments and utilizing Eleet only for CPU oc'ing. I've been at this a long time and it comes down to luck of the draw for that all elusive score, where one run can gain a few hundred and another could result in loosing equally as much. Best results are gained with many successive runs from my experiences.

i see any type of artifacting. test gets stopped immediately..fast way to kill memory chips with artifacting...it means the memory speed is to high for the situation it's in.

Use Precision instead of Afterburner if setting voltages with ELEET. ELEET and Precision is the perfect combo for max oc's especially with a water cooled card. Your core clock should be up in the mid 1800's, easy as pie with Precision and ELEET.

AB is proven as I've used it months back during development when I had my 5970, though buggy along the way not half as much unstable as Eleet is at this time.

Most definatly I agree with Kram but if its a case where you don't want to use ELEET, You are able to click on the voltage number in Afterburner and manually put in a voltage up to 1210 or 1.21, then simply hit enter. I also found that as I went up in memory speed with the same core clock I was loosing on my video and gaining on my cpu ie physics test which is basically a gpu test anyways. Core clock is what makes up the brunt of your video score, consider dropping memory speed and upping core speed, I can run 1800/2200 on Air considering you are on water you should be able to do much better. Newb as I may be I have learnt a lot from listening to these guys on the forum. Constructive criticism is not always a pissing contest here unlike many places. These guys want you to achieve your goals and put your best numbers on the boards..... and sometimes that takes considering what they have to say.

Well there are tricks with ELEET to learn depending on voltage, but it's the best way along with Precision to oc a GTX 480 right now. Trust me you start knocking on 1.225v to 1.250v voltages with a water cooled card you will see it take off in clock speeds.

So I will be able to make a run hopefully before sending it back if the one I'm returning don't crap out on me. Anyone know exactly what kind of psu watts were looking for to run 3xsli?
