np fellas, glad to help... I simply came up with the shortcut, I mean.. the real thanks goes out to the dude who was about to sift through 35 pages, find scores, dedupe them, sort them, etc... iride4u! edit: just noticed my BR count hit 1... thanks to whoever sent it in to the mods, much appreciated.

I think that we are back up and running again.
Sorry that I had to remove the links to your scores but one of them may have been bad. I edited all colors off the posting page to try and solve the problem.
The problem has happened 4 times in 48 hours so I will not be taking any chances.

nah, i just test to find the optimal clocks first, then jump in. this was my second card, because the fan failed on the first one. and that one was good as well. iride4u

Now that's more like it! I'm glad you went water, John  Concerning your power outage....does the card beep and pass 25 bios post? A lot of times I have to jiggle my dvi cable to get video to come on. The 480 is the only card that does this with my dvi cable.

Ditto on the clock, very nice and was going to say, no way with some of the clocks I'm seeing recently that they are on air. BTW, are you volt modding in any way John? Which app are you using to oc? I ask only because I've tried just about everything and I simply cannot get much past 1790 on core without vantage locking up, and it baffles me on how you're doing it, thanks.

that's what i thought at first, but right before it happen i heard a loud bang, then the whole house went out. i broke out the back up battery power and the board wouldn't boot. tried the old trusty 280 and it worked. so i shut down and am STILL wating for the power to come back on! but i did get my card replaced, so im happy...:) Q56_Monster
