Best of my first set of 2x SLI Vantage runs... might not have another 2x SLI result for a little bit, the RMA card I just received is now completely dead. It didn't look new so perhaps I should say "dead again". I guess that gives me time to focus on the CPU overclock over the weekend or something. diynoob --------------------- i7 980x@ 4.4 -------- (2) 480FTW 1700/2000 ----------- 37920--- 88165--- P44221 Water http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dmv=2274708

plus the 4 cores of the 860 really degrade the cpu1 and physx results. But not bad for 4.25 Ghz! For tri-sli you got a real nice oc on the gpus, so that's real encouraging. Have you run any tri-sli tests on you x58/980x set-up? That's what I'd like to see....I'd venture to guess it will be about p57k right off the bat. Then you'll work your way up from there.

They don't have the best top speed, but they have better low-end torque! Yes, yes..show us results please!

New block installed. Result is 21°C lower then before, but still a tad bit higher then I want. I think I may not have gotten the thermal past on the gpu at the best thickness or the memory past it too thick. Blocks are being run in serial since they are different brands I didn't want one starving the other with better flow. Before After EDIT: Forgot pic of card with the block.

@ diynoob. I "had" the DD block on the card that was running hot and is gpu 2 in the screen shots. @ johnksss brother you hit the nail on the head with the torque on the block. I didn't have it torqued down properly and tbh DD has a crappy way to mount the block. I didn't feel like messing with it anymore so I put the FTW block back on the card now that I know what was causing the heat issue. This is how I run my system 24/7. So I wasn't trying to do a personal record breaking run on Vantage, but its the same clocks as the other two I last posted. Here is my temps now with the FTW blocks in parallel.
