Question for owners: Will the adjustments made in the Voltage Controller save on the card after shutdown/reset? Or will you need to manually adjust every time?

If you are speaking about an EVBot, if you restart the computer, it will stay since power stays on the cards, if you shutdown you are supposed to have to resubmit new voltages to the cards.  If you use the EVBot you can make a profile which auto reapplies everything for you.

So, I looked in my BIOS and with my cards in its current pciE slots they are at 8x. Is that hurting my performance by a good amount? Sine the classifieds exhaust hot air through the side do you think I can sandwich them in slots 1 and 2 for 16x?

No matter what config for that board you will only run one at 16x and one at 8x Max...  Im pretty sure from what i researched..

You might wanna' try running them in your M4EZ's PCIe slots 2 & 4 @ x16, via the NF200 chip ...
... your PCIe_1 slot is only at x16 with no other PCIe slots occupied.

I've found that the most reliable test for testing stability is Crysis Warhead benchmark loops at the highest possible settings(AA Included), Metro Last Light benchmark loops, and Metro 2033 benchmark loops. In just about every instance I've found that this will signal an unstable overclock before any other bench or game will.

Re:Official EVGA GTX 780 Classified Thread 2013/08/12 03:58:07 (permalink)
I noticed with the new card it does get hotter at much lower voltages.  And I see too many posts related to minor overclocking and serious heat issues from Classified owners.

Is this still related to the VRM issue?  Can eVGA  confirm whether or not the VRM issue is completely fixed in driver 326.41, or is it still ongoing issue that requires bios fix due to the new memory?

Thanks

Re:Official EVGA GTX 780 Classified Thread 2013/08/12 15:07:43 (permalink)
Ok got mine in , took a while becouse i was benching my old 560ti on the 306.97 drivers i have used for ages, then again on the 326.41 beta that needed to be installed for the 780. 3 runs on each of my 6 bench progs for each driver. The newer drivers increased performance a tiny amount ~1fps on min, max, and average fps.

Anyway have done a quik 1 run of all 6 of my bench programs which include Metro LL and FFXIV and im happy :)
Out of the box it clocks to 1163mhz at 1.162v according to RivaTuner/PrecisonX OSD
Going to do a full bench 3 times of each tomorrow.

Probably wont increase the voltage any further, will see if i can push the core clock as it stands. Reason being is my rig is rather quiet and at 65%+ the fan and airflow sound starts becoming a biit too prominent for my likeing lol, I could deal with it easily when gaming but i want to keep it quiet if i can. Also at 70% fan speed it develops a resonance and somthing within the card vibrates, going up to 73% stops that....the peculiarities of resonance frequencies lol.
So far temps have stayed under the 80c threshold the highest so far has been 77c during Valley benchmark with fan speed at 67% (at 79c i have the fan curve set to jump the fanspeed to 73% ..which hasnt happend yet), which happens to be the bench program i have that causes the most heat atm. Even with my 560ti.

Anyway..thumbs up :)
EDIT: ASIC value 87.9%

Don't upgrade. Make sure your PSU is big enough though.
The difference between PCI-e 2.0 & 3.0 performance is nominal.
