The back plates look awesome on these cards. I love these cards but considering going to water cooling with them.Just got them installed tonight!
Sorry to go off topic but nice looking rig. My question to you is what lighting it used and where are they exactly positioned. Some pics if its possible would be great. Thanks.

Thanks man! This was my first build. Went pretty smoothly. I took a picture of the top of my case inside for you. I'm using two logisys white sunlight sticks taped together. I have tested them all over the case and the top has been the only spot where I didn't get much light bleeding out of the case. The classified are fairly wide so I didn't want to put light under them.

Mine arrived today. 87.1% ASIC. Not a silence card for sure but love it. At first test without touching the voltage i could clock it up to ~1350mhz without any problems at all. I didnt even need to change the powertarget for it. Boost without any changes 1161Mhz but does fall back if the cards get hot to ~1137 at 115% powertarget.

Yeah the powertarget seems really low if you ask me they should give us more or maybe mine has a bug or something. I am always hitting it fast when running oc scanner x. I did use a custom bios to get around that but I guess that voids the warranty right? Or is the classy ti bios allowed? Also ordered a second one hoping it also has samsung memory sins it should be from the first batch that arrived at nl (eu). The one i have now i got from the eu shop and it does has samsung mem.

I guess I'm just incredibly unlucky? I just don't buy a lot of what I see reported from people and their "stable" OC results (I do believe many, but equally as many just no). Here are my experiences with my Classys, all stock LN2 bios with +38 mv added. Card 1: max stable 1241mhz with 115% power, 1.2v (fine result with me, but RMA'd to EVGA for loud clicking and grinding noise) Card 2: max stable 1202mhz with 115% power, 1.2v (I kid you not, currently for sale) Card 3: max stable 1267mhz with 115% power, 1.187v (this one's a keeper) Card 4: we will soon see

Not a big loss, though. FYI, I also figured out I had to remove the port covers to get it into the PCI slots. They were bumping against the case opening.

I also had mixed feelings about putting it up for sale because of the performance, but I am honest with everyone who has inquired about the card, people are fine with 1200mhz. Am I wrong?

People have reported success OC'ing past the 1200mhz barrier by using the 320.49 drivers. There is an issue with the "recommended" 326.41.

Yeah, I'm currently on 320.49. I flat out can not use 326.41 because basically every game will just crash in a matter of seconds after loading in, even at stock clocks lol. 320.49 seem to be just fine, except for the fact I'm experiencing the freezing people have spoken of after having their computer on for awhile... kind of sucks, but whatever. Hopefully they get the kinks ironed out soon.

FWIW, I've found that many people report "stable" clocks that aren't 100% stable. I've found this not just here but in many hardware forums. Some people are happy enough to call an overclock "stable" just by passing a select few benchmarks but that same overclock would likely not be game stable in many games. I doubt that you're seriously unlucky, you are likely doing more exhaustive testing than many people and finding that what most people consider stable, really isn't, hence your lower stable clocks. For the GTX 780 series which I've owned 2 now with a 780 Classified on the way, I've found that the most reliable test for testing stability is Crysis Warhead benchmark loops at the highest possible settings(AA Included), Metro Last Light benchmark loops, and Metro 2033 benchmark loops. In just about every instance I've found that this will signal an unstable overclock before any other bench or game will. My 780's have passed plenty of overclocks that were 50MHz higher in Unigine Heaven, Valley, or 3DMark that would fail in the benches I listed above. To me, if an overclock can't pass everything I throw at it, its not stable.

Well just to mention that. I did play for 3 Houres Anno 2070 at 2560x1440 with max setting with my card at ~1300mhz without having any issues at all. (not sure about the exact clock just didnt save it) So i think that was stable ... or not? I am not the benching guy i just wanted to test if the card really does run that well and it just did so i feel fine with it.

My bad card ran fine at 1241mhz in those 2 and less demanding games, but Crysis 3 had issues as did 3dmark11 graphics test 2 and Metro LL, which brought me to 1202mhz. I can't wait to finally get another good card for SLI and just enjoy gaming, I'm so sick of benching.
I think many people get hung up one benchmark or two simply because it was a reliable test in the past, for instance, I had two GTX 670's prior to my GTX 780's, and for the 670's Unigine Heaven was very reliable for finding an unstable overclock but I've found that just isn't the case with the 780's, just goes to show that a single generation hardware change means that some benches simply aren't as good to test reliability as they used to be. Sure Heaven and Valley will generate a lot of heat which would appear that they're causing more stress but when my 780 overclocks will pass 60+ minutes of Heaven or Valley and then fail within 10 minutes of Crysis Warhead, Metro LL or Metro 2033 loops, I just have to accept that you have to do a variety of tests to find out where the weak link is with each generation of video card.

If all you EVER play is Anno 2070 and it runs fine at whatever clock speed you have it, then sure its stable in that ONE game which may be fine for you. Like I said if that's all you ever play, then it its reliable for you, it just may not be for other games, something to keep in mind.

Noone said i just play Anno i just told that i did played it and i did play some other game but not that long. But well i do not need to discuss about that or even explain oneself. I wonder if anno would be that bad at graphics why the regulary have that in Benching tests.

Question for owners: Will the adjustments made in the Voltage Controller save on the card after shutdown/reset? Or will you need to manually adjust every time?

Are you defensive about something? Your tone and reply sounds defensive.

So, I looked in my BIOS and with my cards in its current pciE slots they are at 8x. Is that hurting my performance by a good amount? Sine the classifieds exhaust hot air through the side do you think I can sandwich them in slots 1 and 2 for 16x?
