You can flash the Classy firmware directly to it from the Classy, make sure to plug the cable into the MB port for flashing.

P27 sets the max to 1.5V P26 is max 1.35V I believe the only difference between the two was the Max Voltage Increase but Jacob could confirm this.

Yes it will. I just attached the backplates on mine, it did nothing performance-wise.

backplates make direct contact with memory chips (through thermal pads) on the back of card and so they provide better passive cooling. backpaltes can (and should) help with memory OC a bit higher than without backplates or at least they let memory run cooler (more stable when OCed too). they won't affect core performance in any way though, just looking nice
