On my Classy's the EvBot reads the following for the limits: for NVVDD goes up to 1.8v, FBVDD up to 2.0, and PEXVDD up to 1.562. But have not been anywhere near those limits.
Correct, however it's not an EVBot device cap I'm referring to, but the maximum voltage allowed by overcurrent protection built into the card. As with the 680's, you could set your evbot to 1.8v on the core and it will take it as high as the card can physically run (on the 680's, this was 1.35v, for the 780, presumably 1.5v).
Understood ... I do know we have another option called OCP which is either normal or extreme. I think the extreme setting allows higher voltages to be set. This option does not show up when 770 Classified use EvBot ... The OCP options were enabled with the 680's, but it didn't actually do anything. (similar to the different bios switches "normal", "OC", and "LN2") There will be a limit defined by the current sense caps on the card, it's just a matter of what exactly that is.

Agreed there has to be some limit. It's funny how poorly these options are documented. 780 Classy bios switch for Normal and LN2 visually raise the Power Target, but you don't really know what else is happening on the card. As a card user I think it would be nice to know these things as well as how the "new" Classy custom VRM differs from the old one.

For those of you with an ASIC around 78-80%, what are your cards boosting to out of the box?

My ASCI is 77.8% and 78% I also noticed since buying them both from evga at the same time it says from same batch on reciept. Five whole screws holding the heatsink on, got both blocks on and was doing a leak test and dripped a little frecking water on the motherboard  Anyhow I've got a box fan drying it off real good before I take the chance at firing it up. Half my post didn't show up? I cheated with the copper heatsinks, hell the aircooler doesn't even make contact with the heatsink covering the memory or mofets, I might take it off later and do it right...

LOL, I doubt it but anyhow buying the universal block worked out good since the 480's I haven't had to buy another block, I saved some cash there. Before I used full cover and probably went through at least 20 water blocks.

famich Sorry to come up with this again, but ...still no trace of Classified in EU..
+1 On a sidenote; apparently the MSI GTX 780 Lightning will be released, though it will probably be an excellent card (and / or a good alternative to the Classified), I don't like the yellow fan on the Lightning, however if the Classifieds in Europe (and especially etailers) are delayed once more, I will have no other option.

... well, so much for the Lightning leverage, I guess ...
