Got an email regarding Punchy's PM! It's been a couple of years so I'm installling FOH on my mulitple PCs now! I should fire up that old SLI'd GTX800 rig, eh? I'll have to find a spot for it and blow some dust off of it. =)

Wow, looks as though the new client folds on both GPU and CPU on qualified GPUs & builds! Verra nice! Got 3 PCs folding now. Have to run to the bank now. But I'll get more folding - it seems even before it starts. =) If it starts at noon Pacific I seem to have an hour and a half.
This contest always feels good to just be a participant in!

Well my production will be down, till I find out what the sparkage was inside my main rig. Won't start now ,so I may need to swap a MB. I'm glad to see everyone else has there's cranked up for the CC!! Good to see some new names folding as well.

Ok, stats are up and running in last minute shakedown mode. Stats pc has been boosted with the new hardware you fine Apes have seen fit to bless me with, and humming away like an even MORE finely tuned machine. I will, however, be pulling it down for a rebuild after the contest - It's a couple of years overdue. And for all of you fine folks making your way back to the F@Hold, WELCOME HOME!!! ::edit:: And this is Your 2 hour and 20 minute warning! Approx. 2 hours and 20 minutes before the first set of points are pulled and the contest is ON!!

Must apolgize for asking this cause I'm sure it has been addressed somewhere, I just haven't found the answer yet.
I know that we are folding under our own names this year, my question is do we need to sign up somewhere, or just fold like business as normal? Sorry, so close to start I don't want to miss doing something because I didn't properly join. Just got power back after 2 and a half days after a F2 tornado ripped though our neighborhood so I am just now getting my rigs back up and running. Thanks in advance for your help.

Just fold away. We're not doing prizes as we just had a contest that ended at the end of March, so there's no need to sign up for tracking purposes.

Pffffffft... I sure hope my trip to the bank didn't use the same memory and math skills I displayed in my 2 earlier posts. LOL
SLI'd 8800GTXs and still another 49 mins 'til it starts.
There, couldn't stand not correcting those! Anybody know if the new FAH client can truly utilize the old SLI'd 8800GTXs? I'm getting that PC out of mothballs now. It's been offline for at least a year so lots of updating to do before I can run the client!

The competition officially begins on the 13th of April, and will run for 10 days (until the 23rd of April). The Challenge begins and ends at 12pm Noon PDT (8pm British Time)

The flat files for the stats don't become available for download and processing until about 25 past the hour, however, and that's what I generally count as the actual 'start' time.

SLI'd 8800GTX's now humming along. That makes 5 multicore PCs and 4 GPUs so far. I should go fire up a laptop and plug it in, hm? The one with the i7 and the GT555M. Yes... :D

If they are posting points already, then the contest kicked off at 2 EDT not at 3. If that's the case, our entire backup system is hosed from the start. ::edit:: looking at that page, those are the same numbers that have been up all day.
