I need more volts to hit 1 GHz... temps are great. I managed to to do a 3dm11 run at 985. it fails at 990. bummer.
need moar volts! i certainly hope EVGA has something in the works there.

Have you tried just lowering your memory some and see if you can get by at the max voltage at 990?

Thanks Yeah I was actually thinking that I lift my case near balcony door, but then I didnt want to get off some chords and so on. LOL I bet you would hard time to believe if the GTX580 temps would have been somewhere around +20C  I once did it with my old dual core Phenom.... 3.1GHz to 4.2GHz CPU temps were +10C hehehehee

hmmm One thing I noticed, that I download the drivers from nVidia, 263.09 drivers, and now realize that somehow Futuremark saying that they not approved drivers.

Who cares what futuremark says...they're behind the times. I think 260.99 is all they're up through right now....they're spinning their wheels on 3dm11 right now, lol!

There is definitely something wacky about this benchmark....there seems to be little difference between running @ 5.7Ghz v. 4.8Ghz using same GPU clocks. Using both 580 drivers. I'm not going to spend much time until the bugs are worked out. And I have no idea why my physx score is soooo low.
