I already have 2x rigs going.  One is folding and the less powerful rig is crunching.

I actually somehow ended up being put on folding too... probably when I added some prizes.  Didn't sign up for bigadv though so I'm not sure what I should do.  Oh well.. the idea is just to do this... have fun and talk smack.

Glad to see everything is running despite me missing the whole day! Now Pacific needs to squeeze out a few more points!

On a separate note, if anyone on folding needs to change divisions due to the acquiring of bigadv (or not using one) it is not particularly difficult to make that change, and I will allow it if there is reason behind it. If you abuse this option, you will simply be dropped from the contest.

Just reinstall the client but keep the data. Thats usually the quickest fix for me.

Was the first thing I did. I will fully Uninstaller and reinstall if I have to when I get home from work.

Just absolutely hate that this is the time the system decided to go on hiatus.

FINALLY got it working.  Something was corrupted internally in the data.  Had to delete EVERYTHING to get it to go away.  I am going to put the Units back in the folders they belong to, and hope that it will finish the ones I had.

SWEET!!!!! The first one should finish about a day after the competition ends.. LOL.. it is slowly getting better.. Not sure why it is taking so long to get the TPF down.

*Last Edit* Back up to normal :-D  405k ppd so far..(that is 150k over the top in the last week for this system)  Hopefully I can help Mountain out a little.

I generally fold bigadv on the 4P... ended up in folding somehow (again I think it was adding in more prizes).  I won't switch over to folding fully yet until I reset the flags and copy my config.xml over so I can reset flags etc. after the contest.  I might end up with bigadv (it happens on occasion) but I'm hoping not.

Meanwhile, I've got stuff I'm doing... if I get out of hand just kill me... :)

No but seriously, Smart people said we should do what we normally would do. And seeing how Viper is normally very confused, I think we should let him keep doing that. It's all good.

Yes, I have client type beta on again.  The smaller rigs are doing well without it, and struggling with, but the Classies love the Betas.

For those of you interested in more stats and charts, I have started the Bric-a-Brac page. (It makes sense, look it up!) Right now it has complete PPD stats and will have some daily progress charts, once I figure out how to get a chart built for a daily folding update (I have crunching worked out).

Edit: For those of you who REALLY like to watch stats, all of the published sheets are also shared, so you can watch them live in Google Docs. You can even watch them live on your mobile phone if you have Google Docs installed. However, I certainly hope your life is more exciting than that.

Things will really change a bit when us Crunchers get done with the Prime Grid Challenge and can get back to some CPU only Projects. Prime Grid CPU points are getting lumped in with the GPU category because that was the simplest way to deal with projects that offered CPU and GPU tasks without having to do a bunch of work separating them. At least that is how I understand the way it was going to be handled during the discussion leading up to the event. I may be wrong in my understanding.

You are correct, sir.  We could not come up with a method that was both simple and fair to separate out the CPU points from the GPU points.

On another topic: sajinor, what do you think about allowing folks who entered only for folding, to start crunching?  I can see the way things are working out that such a re balancing might work to some teams' advantage, but it adds some hassle to the stats work.

If there is enough demand, I can set it up. It will require setting up an additional baseline file (easy enough, and I know you know Punchy, just letting others know) as well as any reformatting I have to do of the way stats display. It also needs to be accepted as fair by you all. I have no issue with doing it if enough of you are interested.

Vice-versa (crunchers only interested in adding folding) can also be possible, but takes a few extra steps on my part due to the alphabetical output.

Let me know.

I don't have a problem with it. Then again I'm not the one doing the work tracking the stats either.

Given that this year is the first time we've actually combined the two teams in a fold/crunch-a-thon I think Punchy, Sajinor and Drougnor have done an excellent job of anticipating things.  It's a good thing and yes, it can be improved but frankly I think this is one helluva step in a positive direction.  I salute you all... from conception, to dedication to inception.  It's been remarkable to me.

I'm with you on that Viper.  I was kinda sad for awhile because I noticed in house challenges and the chimp challenge had died out.  Then I see that the TZC is back with crunching added!  It really is a great idea and I commend all of you that made this possible.

Punchy On another topic: sajinor, what do you think about allowing folks who entered only for folding, to start crunching?  I can see the way things are working out that such a re balancing might work to some teams' advantage, but it adds some hassle to the stats work.

If there is enough demand, I can set it up. It will require setting up an additional baseline file (easy enough, and I know you know Punchy, just letting others know) as well as any reformatting I have to do of the way stats display. It also needs to be accepted as fair by you all. I have no issue with doing it if enough of you are interested. Vice-versa (crunchers only interested in adding folding) can also be possible, but takes a few extra steps on my part due to the alphabetical output. Let me know.

I don't mind as long as it clips those Mountain boys and girls wings a bit!

Nice +1 on the Iceberg

Awww c'mon. You know we love you really. You're on fire!
Thanks for the +1 but the Iceberg is melting. Got 3 x 670s in there now which is pushing cpu temps to +70C. Bought a Nexxxos Monsta white at the weekend, hope it gets here before she blows!
