With a high quality PSU, you should be able to run at 100% 750/.92=815 watts at the wall. Even an average quality unit should have no worry at 80% continuous load. 750*.8/.8= 750 watts at the wall. general air flow to your MB VRM, cards and their VRM is a more likely issue with the continuous loads of FOLDING. If your PSU is of an average or better quality, you should have no worry unless your cat/dog has filled it with hair. ;)

Scarlet-Tech Milestone time for me... I broke 150 Team and 1500 Project Simultaneously. And I am finally over 50 million. I should probably live on base at the next place, just so I can have more free electricity, LOL. The fold may get expensive in the future, running two x processors and looking to get 2-3 more GK110 GPU's (that part is in the air for now).
Congrats Scarlet-Tech.....and your kickin a.. in the TZC too I just broke 25 mil....not bad for folding on and off for 7 months

its an antec tp750 80% silver i believe its a few years old, but it has never given me problems and i keep the case and components pretty clean i dont really need to worry about the motherboard components when im only folding with cards, do i?

un4givn85 on another note will it cause any problems in my system to put my gtx 570 back in and have it fold too? i have the power connections and i think my 750 watt psu could handle it what do you guys think?
It should not hurt anything to put you 570 in under your other card. But you will most likely have to reinstall drivers. Not sure how fha will react though but it should find it ok.
Everything went fine. Reinstalled drivers and all is well except fah has them backwards.
un4givn, Follow write-up here to rectify the mis-mapping of your GPU slots. Had the same issue recently. https://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=96&t=26334#p264269 *Keep in mind that your OpenCL and CUDA indexes *may not* necessarily be the same value* (eg. on one of my 970s and my old 680 (3 GPUs total in the system) the OpenCL index required "1", while the CUDA index required "2" for the 970. Vice versa for the 680.)

Ahhh, Top 10 at last. Now, if Stanford would just cough up my qrb for latest client I put online, Mountain will take 2nd spot! Unfortunately, I'm not sure if I'll get ten wus done before we hit the finish line. Sorry team -blame work and poor planning edit -blame work, what a fantastic flag. I'd even lock that command to F1

I do believe once you make 10 WU with your folding key from Stanford, as long as you keep the same name and key combo. the QRB will be instant on any new computer, slot, or client. You do not have to keep priming the ten WUs to get QRB.

Since bcavnaugh did 2.1 million PPD over his estimate yesterday, maybe the organizers can move you to Pacific to balance things out better!

Not Even, I am Folding for at least 3 Team members to offset that uneven Eastern Team. But they can move the Number One bowlinra form the East to Pacific. Also I was only going to Fold on my 4P and 2P BigAdv Projects at the beginning. But because we have so few Folders in the Mountain Time Zone we have to make up somehow or what would even be the point in participating the TZC to begin with. More to Follow.......

East and West VS the Central and Mountain Bill didn't you read where it said "All points over your projected PPD go to the last place team"? That's why I am within 1% of my projected.

I enjoyed that challenge!!! Also, is there a big difference between 780, 780ti, Titan, or Titan Black while folding. I am starting to see 780 Classifeds for cheap, and have considered grabbing a few for a folding rig, as funds allow. Thoughts? Currently 780ti's aren't dropping a lot, because there isn't a big enough price gap, but if they drop, I am going for more classifieds instead. I think a 3960x with 780 classies would compliment a 5960 with 780Ti Classies fairly nice. But, I want stupid, bcavnaugh style, folding power.
