no ... to my understanding the first bigadv rig is up for grabs to all who enter ... however with that said the 2nd bigadv rig is set aside for those that are veterans ie folded for 9 months for EVGA and 2 Million Points for EVGA That is the way i understand the rules

AND? you mean OR....9 months or 2 million - To be eligible for the gift drawing, participants must continue to fold within the contest rules through the entire duration of the contest and fold a minimum of 100,000 points.
- Exceptions to this will be granted prior to the start of the contest if you are unable to reach that threshold. To be granted an exception, contacttroy8d via PM on the EVGA forums.
BigAdv Rig 2
Special additional "veteran" eligibility requirements apply to this rig:
- 200 people must be registered for the contest
- You must have folded 9 months OR 2 million points with Team EVGA

I didn't read through all this thread, but I have a question about PPD. It's this part of the challenge Format. Participants must report the PPD they anticipate producing in the contest. This value will be the base value of PPD a folder will be given credit for in the contest. So does this mean if I say I will be getting a 25k PPD when I signed up, this is all I will be given credit for during the challenge even if I go over that PPD?

can someone change my holding time from 6 months to 1 year to 1-2 years? I have been folding for 14 months for EVGA

um... 70k every 2 days is closer to 35k
EOC fluctuates based on time of day. and when the WU came in
so it can be high or low
base it on prolonged behavior
I'll PM troy with the new 35K figure (I'll point him to your stats)

naw...within 20% error
As long as people are close, and reasonably report an accurate/close approximated PPD value I don't think it will be an issue.

I honestly don't know my PPD to be perfectly accurate (It's accurate for what I'm currently running), but when I upgrade, I've got a feeling it's gonna throw the stats out of whack.

The number of contestants has been updated to only count valid contest entries (i.e. removing double posts). We're still a few short...but rumor as it rjbelans is holding out to be the official 200th contestant!

+1 i'am the 200 :) i can confirm to all that my rigs will be down from folding due lot of work maybe i'll crunch some SMP jobs for the Team that will be asigned but probably i'll not complete the 100k required due to this heavy work tasks and my PPD can up/down from 10k (depends on free spare CPU TIME) if all you want me despite the troubles i signed up and i'm the 200 person who signed so second bigadv prize for 111065 could be success ;) TEAM 111065 FTW!!! Default or Death :P PS : Sorry for my english is not my primary language and if all of you think that i dont qualify for the contest drop me from the list of people who signed
