I wonder if computers picked up from salvage runs count as 'personally owned'... Finders keepers there...you brought it back to life from the dead and discarded Madrias making Frankenstein folders...LOL I guess it's time for halloween and the Frankenstein builds

troy8d 10/13/11 The Central Time Zone can talk all the trash in the world, but resting on the laurels of past successes is not going to cut it this year. The latest numbers from the registration show that Central is in for a world of hurt as the big boys from the Mountain Time Zone battle it out against the growing horde of Eastern Time Zone folders in a close PPD race. In fact, it seams the only thing Central has to brag about thus far is their firm grasp on 3rd place and commanding lead over the Pacific Time Zone. With 10 days remaining before the contest begins, can Central stage an epic comeback to remain undefeated in the Time Zone Challenge? Only time will tell... I'm sitting on a couple surprises. The first is some power optimizations that freed 37A worth of 120v up. The second is secret.

There are plenty of "other" time zone folks (some already assigned to US time zones) that could be used to balance things out if even teams were really wanted. If sfield happened to sign up for EST or MST, and no adjustments were made, the contest would be over before it even started.

Though that is the intention, there aren't close to enough people in the "other" category to make things close to even. @ Madrias - unless you can get 1 million PPD on those 37A, it don't know that it will make much difference. Perhaps this wasn't clear, but click the specific timezones at the bottom of the spreadsheet for more (real time) information on each.

I've got a couple spare cases and some boards I can fudge together to make something that works. That, and I'm not afraid to rescue perfectly good P4's from the curb because someone doesn't want to buy that new HDD to fix it.

Can we have this data in a form of a graph. This will be my first year for the TZC. And so be it, CST all the way. I will be adding 30k~100K PPD to this team.

This is my semi regular name check reminder. Please ensure you have double checked the spelling you used for your folding name. And a check on your production numbers wouldn't hurt, either. ;-) Liking what I see so far, in general. Will be MUCH happier if I have over 200 names to enter into the system, tho. Make me work!!! d

As posted in the CST list.. Srry have to pass on this one.. Would love to but I have to use my folding system for work at home.. And the way they do it we run vmware environments that use up half my resources.. and i cant risk system failure.. Dead system = no job = no money = no parts = no folding.

well i see some PPD numbers that are skewed in the contestants area ... aka ... 2 EOC folding names that are doubled ... and 1 of those names has 2 different PPD ammounts ... 1 for 200k and the other for 150k for the same folding name

10/14/11 - 10 days before the contest begins and we need another 50 people to register to hit 200. If everyone puts for a little effort I'm sure the goal is easily within reach.
