Estimated 3000, got 2845. If it wasn't for that 10127 WU (which took my laptop more than 5 days), I'd be well over my estimate. Still good I think, considering I was also working on this laptop the whole time.
I'll give the poor thing a rest after the 11 Billion goal...

DAMN #108 on the list was hoping to get that gts 450sc. killed mine during the contest oh well at least I made the list. Everyone won on this one, we did amazing job with the numbers we put up. FOLD!

lol, Nah, no guilt needed, just as long as they love it as much as I would have. Besides, things always work out and in the name of Science it shall!

2011 TZC Feedback Summary:
 
I feel like this information should not be known only to myself, so after reading through all the of feedback submitted this is a summary of the comments provided so far.  Note: it is only a summary so not everything people said can be included, only the major themes (i.e. just because it isn't listed doesn't mean it wasn't read or isn't being considered).
 
The overall average rating given to the contest: was a 9.25.
 
Things people liked about the best about the 2011 TZC:  Answers were fairly consistent with the most common answer being that they enjoyed the friendly competition and competitive nature of the contest as well as the camaraderie and trash talking it inspired.  This was followed by the fact that the contest gets people motivated to fold and push their hardware harder than they previously were pushing it.  Finally, the stats, website and chat were all also mentioned frequently.
 
What would you like to see changed:  Responses were quite sporadic with the most common answer being "nothing".  This was followed by less complaining and whining by contestants.  Several people mentioned more advanced notice of the contest as well.  There were a few suggestions to modify or eliminate the PPD requirement.  Finally, a few people mentioned that they would like to see more gifts/prizes.

When would you like to see the next contest: the majority suggested a contest in January.
 
All respondents indicated that they would participate in the next Time Zone Challenge (if there is one).  Though in all fairness, there are a few individuals that did not fill out the survey that have indicated they will not be participating gain.
 
Finally, there were two issues brought up by numerous people that were pretty well split 50-50 with no clear consensus.  The first being a separate international team and the second is having an announced versus random start time. 

Thank you to everyone that took the time to provide feedback, if you have not yet you still have the opportunity to do so.  Until we come up with the "perfect contest" (which we haven't come close yet) the feedback helps us move in the right direction for future contests.
