From the time the contest started, I've not picked up any bigadv's.
I don't understand, I've not made any changes in several months.
.
I'm running the V7 beta programs on my computers. On my four bigadv rigs when I had just the Value [ client-type bigadv ] entered, I would get mostly reg. smp's and some bigadv's. When I also added the Value [ max-packet-size big ] then I got only bigadv's. If you are running Tracker or something else. If you post what program you're running maybe someone will be able to double check your settings. But if it just started doing this after months of running just bigadv's then it probably is that Ruby Slipper thing. Hope you get it worked out. Have fun with the contest.

It depends on which house, on what street, and what city you actually live in. BTW, I don't do any hiring myself. There's a big mean HR department for that. EDIT: FYI ( http://www.gojobs.gov.on.ca/Jobs.aspx )

Well, there are the two bigadv rigs, that's quite the haul. I'm so drooling over the bigadv rigs, you have no idea! :) Utilities are included in my rent, which is already very reasonable, so I can fold freely. The problem is, I have no funds to put together a bigadv rig. If I get one of these rigs, I'll tune in to Linux and let it fold till eternity! :))) Oh, by the way, if anybody is complaining with high power bills, they can send me their folding rigs, and I'll fold it for them. The goal is to contribute to F@H for the cure, right? We share the points though!

Punchy Looks like the stat chart and stat graph numbers don't match. CST is last in the chart with around 5.38M, but third in the graph with 5.99M. The other teams' numbers match better. There was an issue with adding a new folder to the Central Team. It is fixed and the stats graph numbers not match.

I've got a new rig that I just have to put together, and my previous 3 rebuilds have been from the community prize funds and donations. This one has also been a donation, and as such, I feel the only honorable thing to do is to withdraw from the prize pool. Especially from the -bigadv rigs.

Oh noes! I call foul! First the 2000 presidential election, and now this! What is up with the east coast?! Time for them to take a refresher course on dimpled chads, hanging chads, tri-chads, and swinging chads. Then do a recount. CST demands a recount!

Contest Progress Report: In the boo, hiss department, I should have had a bigadv drop today, but two 6900s in a row bombed out on me, one at 49%, the next at 10%. Now another one is churning along for a drop tomorrow on what has been a perfectly stable machine before, a reliable, dedicated bigadv cruncher. Isn't it always the way that if a machine is going to act up, it will be in the middle of a points contest? More boos and hisses: Intel released the i7-2700K this week instead of last week before the contest. Don't they know there are proteins out there hungering to be folded? Right before the contest, I inadvertently killed a motherboard when upgrading a CPU. Hint: gravity is not your friend when releasing that little clip. It was a humble contributor, but still, that's down a machine when it's needed, and I won't have time to get it back online until Saturday. I brought in two other machines for the contest that don't usually fold, one humble, the other a steady worker. So that's a net contest gain of only one machine so far. In the yay department, I should have a second dedicated bigadv machine throwing its weight around by tonight or tomorrow. And in some way appropriate for the contest, my point total went over 10 million yesterday. Not contest points, sorry. Overall. Finally, in the major yay department, go EST.

Think we're both having some fun with CST's state of the competition, but, I am puzzled over one of my 5187 pointers not appearing to be credited ... dropped at 8:37 CST according to the log file and everything uploaded ok I think. On EOC stats tracking, 2 SMP units are showing up at 9 a.m., but, no 5187 pointer ... not even at 12 p.m. And, my total EOC points are matching the Stanford total as of 12 p.m. I'm new at this, so, can anyone enlighten me as to what I'm missing or how I can check on where the 5187 pointer went to? And, don't tell me it's been stolen by ECT ...
