Tonight is daylight savings time, we set the clocks back an hour, so the team gets a little more time to hit 11 million.

No, but sometimes it's messed up like TZC - Team Showdown where parts are shown incorrectly or missing. I'm using Chrome and IE9 to check.

Gizas! what a mess

This is sometimes occurs when the stats are refreshing.  Should be resolved momentarily and requires hitting refresh.

FYI:  The prize drawing will take place after all teams have completed the 50 million point challenge.  We can tentatively schedule the drawing for Thursday evening this week (though this is may change).  Additional details will be posted as things become more definite and all teams near the finish line.

I have all my machines running in the house so we can hit 11 billion. I might have to go gangster with it and get a team EVGA tatto just to be a cocky sob.:)

BTW thanks nite for the clarification of what is most likely to happen for big adv rig prizes.

can we do the prize draw for big adv rigs only?

I'd rather use the random number selector for each member for the regular prizes so we can choose which prize we want or have the option to pass in that order. This has worked really well for previous contests.

here is an example from Zarrens old site

https://sites.google.com/../evgacontests/cc-prizes each prize had a line strikeout as it was selected

https://sites.google.com/../evgacontests/teams-ppd and this was the results

more then like those will be randomly drawn, veteran members will be grouped together for 1, everyone else will be grouped together for the other and names will be drawn for each.

Or he might give each member a number and let a random number selector website do it for each group.

I reckon it would be simpler to just check that the one that claims the veteran rig is indeed a veteran, otherwise those thata re in teh veteran ranking wont be able to select the other rig even though theyre still eligible for it :)

Re:Official 2011 Time Zone Challenge Announcements 2011/11/06 14:04:14 (permalink)
From the way it's described in the prize pages, my understanding was that the veterans would have a chance for both bigadv rigs, while regular participants would have a chance for only one bigadv rig.

So, what makes sense to me is to first make the drawing for the veterans-only rig among the veterans, then (excluding the winner) go ahead with the regular bigadv rig drawing. Finally, a single drawing for the smaller prizes should be made, excluding the bigadv rig winners. At any step, if a person does not want a prize, all such prizes should be put back and a second drawing should be made among those who did not win anything in the first drawing. That's how I'd do it anyway...
