rjbelans Not sure what X-Z is referring to. Your +/- PPD calcs are off if it is what I think it's supposed to be. Is this simple the current PPD as a percent of what was in the registration? If so, it should look like what I got. Yours: Mine: EDIT: Now that I see the two side-by-side..... You did the % above or below what was registered. That does seem to work out, NVM. What data are you using to do the contest points and PPD calc? Did a check of a couple of names with EOC stats and something seems a little off. Some are higher and some are lower for points today stats on EOC. I was referring to "3dfxvoodoo" which was on both lines 52 and 53 seems troy fixed it up...was a working progress anyways...I kinda figure he'd catch it anyways

troy8d ....... I (think) the first pulled update was at 11:30 AM EDT this morning...
If you pulled the 11am stats, then your PPD calc should be based on a 10am start time. It looks like it is calculating using some other basis for figuring out the days portion of it. i.e. mflanaga should show as about 2 mil PPD right now instead of 500-600k PPD (these numbers are obviously skewed due to timing and duration)
That is the time of the first WUs pulled for points simply because thats when I was working on it this morning. but the PPD for the sheet is based on a start time of midnight.
Makes sense then. Just remember to get the right time in there for the calc later. One other thing I notic3ed was the total +/- PPD at the bottom. It should be a calc based on the cells to the left and not a sum of the column above. Other than that it looks good so far. BTW, I did donate a prize earlier, doesn't that give me the right to provide feedback?

Got your name plugged in, so the first hour your WUs drop, you'll start producing points on the tracker.

So will there be penalties if we fold more than what we quoted??? I have something in the works and not sure if it will be ready before contest start that will more than double what I quoted. Of course if I finish before contest start time I will ask troy and or drougnor to update my stats, just not sure if I will have it ready before contest start.

troy8d - Many people are asking about the exact start time of the contest and the exact start time will remain unknown except to drougnor and myself. It could start at any point on the 24th...in any time zone.
Well I hope this is early on the 24th. I should have a -bigadv drop around 8:30 am Central time on the 24th.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but we have 219 people signed up right now. 3 names show twice to make the page show 222. That means we are 1 more folder away from invoking the prize of $111 offered by tanner2 "A picture of tanner... err no, $111 by paypal if we get to 220 contestants." Who hasn't signed up yet, c'mon we just need 1 more.

I know when I copy and paste the entire list from the sheet, I have to take out 6 or more doubles to get to what I have for a list - I have no idea how Troy has set the count to try to eliminate the doubles. Tho, going back over my list, I may have to take one out, so 219 does look right. Poop. Call in the signups! Really, I'd like to see 225 or more anyway.

There are currently 220 people signed up for the contest (after removing patches double post this morning). EDIT: corrected the number of entries to 220

@ troy or drougnor - whats the rule on people over producing ppd(ie. under reporting thier avg on sign ups)? whats the +/- % allowed. i am able to do 90k (so it looks like, if stuff stays stable) but i dont want to run the power bill up that high. i reported i would do 45k and im going to stick to that as close as possible. just asking in wanting to keep fair as fair not not do anything wrong.

I read somewhere that you would only be credited what you estimate for your PPD. What does that mean? Does that mean you will not be credited anything over what you estimated and the overage will not be added to the TZC totals?
