You haven't installed it yet so how do you know it's garbage? Anyway like any software you'll like it or you won't like it. If you don't like it you don't have to install it. NVIDIA is trying to make it better.

One has to hope it is better than the current version. I never install it because it causes too many issues. Will wait and see

Agreed. Many people will complain just to complain when someone tries to make things better, but you'll see them still complain. We have to give Nvidia credit where it's due, at least they're trying. Who knows... maybe they did see all the complaints from the people on evga.com and realized that the people do have a point, so, they are trying to make it better.

Seems like they're slowly evolving towards a Twitch.tv interface. Not that impressed at all.

I like the new UI and features. Been using it since 2.0. I wish they'd include GPU control right from the overlay though.

"The in-game overlay offers hardware-accelerated record, screen-shot capture, broadcasting, and cooperative gameplay." and "Capture screenshots up to 4K and upload to Imgur with the click of a button." are both cool features which I will check out.

In-Game overlays are problematic, because they can directly conflict with existing utilities that already use the overlay method. Not a fan of it using overlay.

I hear Nvidia requiring people to login to use GeForce Experience. You can use google account or create GeForce Experience account. Why do we need to login to use software. That should be completely optional.

My theory is they will keep giving it to you for free, but they will start to force updates without your permission or a way to opt out. Then they will force you to use Experience for their evil data mining propaganda. :D
