I was thinking about what's coming after Pascal... 4 Nanometer with 3000MHz and 16 Gb of videomemory? - Maybe called "Shrapnel"?

Jay and Luke in shock and awe... again?

Yes, I will be a Pascal-costumer too, but because of all the hype's going on, this whole thing is getting +_#. Next thing is Jen-Hsun will be nominated for the Nobel-Prize!? Outstanding contributions for humanity... Nvidia?

Seems more like Trolling Thread. Maybe you move back down to Earth.

    Shrapnel
    noun
    noun: shrapnel
    • fragments of a bomb, shell, or other object thrown out by an explosion.
      • historical
        • Terrorist IED bomb
        • A shell containing bullets or pieces of metal timed to burst short of impact.

Pascal has more than one significance... maybe, you should know that.

Really? - Why you explained that to me in the first place? It's just humor and has nothing to do with trolling. + Please, STOP writing me pm's about your comments in this thread - nobody does that!!!

Is there really that much Pascal hype?  It's just another graphics card generation.  Nothing seems out of the ordinary with this release.  Short supply, Nvidia bashing, x% improvement over last generation, a few new technologies, and AMD praise before they release something.

Then disappointment and weak sales once they actually release something.  Apparently they're competing with Nvidia's 2014 graphics cards with their release in a few days.  This is quite the step forward for them.

They do this with Nvidia too.

Well we are coming to an interesting crossroads. As processors get smaller and smaller, we will start running into problems with how the electric current, or the flow of electrons, behaves in very small nano meter construction.

Here is a good article about what I'm talking about. Quantum mechanics is a very quarky

Thank you, I'm aware of that and the possibility that the scientific-movement is to fast, because of the new reductions. I think that Pascal will get one or maybe two times something like a refresh because of the high development costs. + There's no hurry with the Radeon-competition. ^^
