Well that's nice to know. Makes sense now when I started folding for the challenge last night that my rig would start and stop on WU's. Then after 8 hours of thinking its running, shows "Failed" instead. Going back to 373.06 myself.

So far I got no problems with this release on a GTX 1060 6GB but I have to finish another WU to see if the PPD are as good as in the 372.90 release which seemed best for me. The releases after 372.90 seem to induce lag on mouse when the folding is on and I'm on plain desktop but working fine when browsing.

WTH? Finished at least one WU today and a little while ago when I've returned home I've seen the client stopped with an exclamation mark and then I've turned off the client without checking the logs. I'll roll back to 372.90 and start again.

373.06 is the one to use. Everyone reverted back to this, I do not run Linux, but would be the same one I guess...

Almost 9h for current WU! Also noticed that my PPD went down, with the same drivers-372.90, with about 65k.

That is why we said for Folding use Driver 373.06. Did you have any Failed WU?

None so far. I've reverted to 372.90 because with them I got stability, no black screen or small freeze. I think the PPD dropped because of the current WU which still has around 5 hours to complete.

I tested it! Seems to increase PPD by 5% over 373.06! Highly recommend the Eastern Mountain Alliance to promptly switch to it to maintain their lead! Wait! What!? This was not real! Please continue with your regularly scheduled Fold!

You know that Black Screen issue my be due to not using a VESA CERTIFIED DP Cable.

Never had a problem with previous card - GTX 770. Cable used is a HDMI to HDMI with gold plated connectors on a 32" TV.

MSI Z170A Gaming Pro Carbon - latest bios installed. Black screen occurs only with some drivers. The 372.90 works fine. Could be the latest W10 update the cause to my decreased PPD!?

Hmm, A 32inch TV, or monitor?? I have found that TV's rather than Monitors are not able to accept computer inputs, and go out of range. Maybe the reason for the black screens.... Do you have a monitor to test with??

I would not have posted knowing that it was a TV and not a real computer monitor. I do agree with you about testing on a real computer monitor. I have seen more issues with newer graphics cards and monitor problems to only find that it is really a TV. This was One Process I did not care to have to set up and my last work place, High End Graphics Cards and Low End LCD TVs. Now with the 4K TVs I wonder if this issue will slow down somewhat.

A 32" smart TV Philips model 32PFL3258H/12 but as I stated before I haven't encountered black screen situations with the 372.90 driver. The card is working fine, I've done a 24h folding round without a single problem even the PPD seemed a little lower but that could be due to a number of reasons: 1.) Motherboard BIOS update from 1.4 to 1.5 then to 1.6 2.) W10 update(s) 3.) Other software updates 4.) Setting in Folding client the parameter "advanced " My initial GTX 1060/6GB testing resulted in around 480K PPD/day report then after doing all the above steps noticed a decrease in PPD. But since the contest started I haven't made any more changes because I lost enough PPD...so I'll do what I can to keep my initial estimated PPD.
