I submitted my step up on June 6 and when EVGA closed down the queue position I was around #1100. And yes, this is a report from the German side of things, I'm posting here since this forum is more active...

Dear EVGA, is there any update?
On another note, will the step up cards ship with the thermal pads installed?

I'm in a similar situation albeit not 5 months. I think the Step up maybe in some sort of hiatus due to all the shenanigans that's plaguing these cards.

I have been waiting 6 months as well. I bought the GTX 970 a few months before the release of the GTX 1080 from EVGA because of the step-up program. If I knew it would be taking this long I would have waited a few months and purchased through a different vendor.
