Hey all, I also wrote this on the GeForce forum but I've gotten very little response so I'm going to post it here as well. I recently purchased two GTX Titan X for my PC. While both cards work perfectly fine when running solo, when both cards are in the rig, it doesn't display anything on the monitors. The only I've been able to go to the BIOS/see the motherboard splash screen is by running 1 card or plugging into the port on the motherboard. I've tried the following:
1. Try various PCI-E slots on my motherboard. 2. Try two different SLI bridges 3. Try running one card at the time (Both work fine solo) 4. Trying my old GTX 780 TIs alone and in SLI (it was fine for both) 5. Reinstalling drivers 6. Tried prioritizing PCI-E display in BIOS 7. Tried DP, HDMI and DVI
If anybody could help out with this issue, it would be much appreciated! My rig is the following: Core i7-2600k @ 4.7 Ghz Gigabyte G1 Sniper 3 EVGA GTX Titan X 24GB Mushkin Ridgeback RAM Samsung EVO 500GB SSD Corsair AX1200 PSU

Assuming that you've installed the latest drivers, is that also correct for the mobo bios? At this point, I think you'd know that it would be deciding between the compatibility of your mobo or a single card out of them both. Forgot to ask, so you can't even get into the bios when both are installed?

In the NVIDIA Control Panel can you see that you can Enable SLI or is it Grayed out? Have you tested with Different SLI Bridges or Ribbons? Did you Disable your Intergraded Video in the Bios and turn of MultiGPU Support? Current Bios: F7 3.92 MB 2012/08/23 Expansion Slots - 2 x PCI Express x16 slots, running at x16 (PCIEX16_1, PCIEX16_2) * For optimum performance, if only one PCI Express graphics card is to be installed, be sure to install it in the PCIEX16_1 slot; if you are installing two PCI Express graphics cards, it is recommended that you install them in the PCIEX16_1 and PCIEX16_2 slots.

Yes! I had both of my old GPUs in the two PCI-E 16x slots. I have two SLI ribbons and neither of them worked (Unless they have some new fancy bridge that I need to be using instead). As for whether it is greyed out or not, I can't even get to that point. When I boot up the PC with two GPUs installed, nothing displays on screen (including mobo splash screen at the beginning). When I tried using the DisplayPort port on the motherboard, it displayed fine but there Nvidia Control Panel was missing and neither GPUs were detected in Device Manager. Not sure thats typical when you're displaying via the motherboard or if there is something additionally wrong.

"DisplayPort port on the motherboard" This is your Intergraded Video You cannot install NVIDIA's Drivers in this mod nor can you use the NVIDIA Control Panel. Put one of your old cards back in your computer and boot and remove all Update your SLI Settings or clear them and Un-Install ALL NVIDIA Software. Do you use AB Or EVGA Precision X on your computer?

bcavnaugh Per Bus Support shows PCI Express 3.0 so maybe your CPU cannot run the new cards? Have you tried only One Card?
Yeah I've tried both cards solo. They work perfectly fine.

I wonder if your PSU is to old, How Old is it? Or it is not big enough to power two cards and your computer. Do you an extra PSU you can connect to the 2nd Card? For your 780Ti - 600 Watt or greater power supply with a minimum of 42 Amp on the +12 volt rail.****PCI Express, PCI Express 2.0 or PCI Express 3.0 compliant motherboard with one graphics slot.

Yeah I may do that. At this point, I'm curious as to whether it's sort of hardware incompatibility or whether there's something wrong with one (or both) of these cards.

Have you tried running your motherboard BIOS at optimized defaults? Maybe your CPU overclock is causing some instability when both cards are installed.

Thanks, did you happen to run the Standard Benchmark that is only Fire Strike. The same one that is used on MODS RIGS. gangwarily now you will have some scores to compare with one you get your 2-Way SLI Running.

Haven't done any official benchmarks yet. Mostly anecdotal differences I've noticed while playing various games. I've also haven't messed with OCing til I can get this issue figured out.
