I changed the flag last night and let the -advmethods unit work through. At the time I went to bed it was netting 10,000 PPD and the WU was 88% done. This morning I saw that the net PPD in HFM is 6600. TPF is about 10 min. I don't recall which WU I was working on. I am not sure if this in another -advmethods, or a -bigadv. Either way I don't like lower PPD.

that´s prolly a project 6701/2/3 (no bigadv, but still takes along time) With a bigadv(project 2684) its either 3k ppd (if you just miss the deadline)or 14k+( 14k if you just make the deadline) ppd edit: is that on your 940? If its at stock forget bigadv. I´ve run it on a stock 950 (dedicated, no gpu folding) and had a tpf of 55 min. Including upload I made it with 29min to spare for the bonus

Barbarossa With a bigadv(project 2684) its either 3k ppd (if you just miss the deadline)or 14k+( 14k if you just make the deadline) ppd How much actual time to go is "just making" the deadline? I usually complete the SMP bigadv projects with about 9-12 hours to spare, depending on how much gaming (no folding) I do during that time.

Well, I saw the "results successfully sent" 29 min before what HFM showed as deadline, if that´s what you mean with how much time to go

I actually meant to ask, how much time before the deadline is just making it? Or, how long prior to the deadline can you still get the big bonus points?

As long as Stanford receives it before the preferred deadline you get the bonus. In my case with 29 min to spare it averaged out to 14k ppd l, so I got about 60k for that wu. It´s slightly less than what I´m getting on the "good" (excl. the 6040/1/2 and 670x wus) regular A3s

I can bump i a bit, but really had little success when I was trying to do any OC on it when it was new. I never reached a stable 4 on air, but can probably get a good stable 3.6.

3.6 should be OK, leaves you with more time to spare than my 950 at 3.1 Now what I can´t tell you is how much impact gpu folding has. Seeing that I´ll barely make the deadline I never switched on the gpu

Seeing that I´ll barely make the deadline I never switched on the gpu I really don't think GPU folding takes that big of a hit on the SMP bigadv folding. When I posted earlier above, I should've also mentioned that I have 4 GPU clients running at the same time on a pair of GTX295s (using current WHQL drivers).

I'll give it a go and we will see. My biggest PPD comes from my GPUs so I don't want to do anything that will impact that. If I am going from 10000 PPD on the advmethods to 14000 ppd on the bigadv, but losing my 17000 ppd on the GPUs on that machine, it is not a good exchange.
