I have a setup I am very happy with, BUT on boot my 780 cards won't display on the display port monitor (DELL) until after windows loads, and if I uninstall drivers it doesn't display.
Is this normal? As it would be a hassle if I had a single monitor setup.

If I use only the HDMI Port on my Dell monitor it will only come up after the OS Boots.
My Dell is the UltraSharp U2412M 24" LED LCD Monitor - 16:10 - 8 ms
To get into the Bios I have to use the DVI or DP Ports.

I had a similar issue with my EVGA 780 Ti reference cards. There was an updated VBIOS that I flashed that fixed the no display out via HDMI for me.

I had this when I went SLI through DP.
1 card would be the post screen, the other card would be Windows.
Used driver sweeper and uninstalled everything nvidia related. Left the cards as they were.
Re-installed it all and re-enabled SLI and no issues since - same card/display for post and Windows.
