I have a GTX 960 SSC that I have been running through the DVI connection. I recently switched to the HDMI connection. When I boot up, I get as far as the "Starting Windows" screen and the windows logo. When it actually goes into windows (7 64 bit) I lose video and the screen shows "NO DIGNAL DETECTED". I reverted to 362.00 driver at EVGA Tech support suggestion, no difference. Obviously HDMI works or I wouldn't get any video at all.

Dear jcvann49, Welcome to the forums! Can you please confirm that you have unplugged all other cables or adapters from the back of the graphics card except for the HDMI cable? Can you please also try a different HDMI cable if available? Please let us know if the problems continue.

NVIDIA Driver needs to be installed for this to work. After you have booted to the OS even with a Black Screen Un-Plug the HDMI Cable wait 5 seconds and you should here the OS Beep that a hardware change was made. Power off the TV/Monitor wait 5 seconds and then power it back on. Plug back in the HDMI cable to the back of the Graphics Cards and you OS should once more Beep at you that some kind of hardware change as happened. If you here no Beep then the HDMI cable or the HDMI port on the TV/Monitor or Graphics card is bad. As EVGATech_ChrisB above states you cannot have any other cable plugged into the Graphics Card, Remove the DVI cable.

All cables were unplugged, computer was off. Tried 2 different dabbles and 2 different monitors. Same problem no matter which cable or monitor I connect.

You can also try running DDU to clear out any of the previous versions of the driver(s) that may be lingering in your system. Hopefully that will clear up any issues you're having there

Tried what bcavanaugh suggested - booted to black screen, no cables connected to video card or monitor except the HDMI. Did not get a beep when I unplugged the cable from the video card and did not get video when I plugged it back in. The HDMI cable and monitor work with my Raspberry PI, no issues. When the HDMI is plugged in to the GTX960, I get video up to the "Starting Windows" screen and the windows logo. It only stops working when it actually starts Windows after the Logo comes up. Can it be that the HDMI connector on the GTX960 is bad when it works for non-windows. I can go into the bios with the HDMI, no problems. This sounds like there is an issue with drivers initializing, as that is the point when they would be engaged. If you were able to run DDU in safe mode, you should be able to get back into Windows to attempt a driver reinstall. You may want to check in your BIOS and making sure that none of your power rails are fluctuating as it could indicate that the issue may be caused by your PSU. If you need help, we have an FAQ here with a little more guidance http://www.evga.com/support/faq/afmmain.aspx?faqid=59025

following advice of evga tech, I ran DDU and reinstalled driver 362.00 which he said was more stable. Did that before I posted here. Checked my voltages, 12v is running 12.046V 5v is running 5.03V 3.3v is running 3.312V Was thing about getting a 2nd card and running SLI, but can't see doing that if the cards won't run all outputs.
