I know I'll continue to fold. Even if they're out for a week. Because everyday we can send and receive WU's is another day closer to saving lives. That's what this is about, right?

I just restarted all 24 of my gpu clients. I did get 5 new WU's but that is still very lacking.

I've been getting WU's no problem but it seems for nothing! They either lost the WU's or lost track of the points at Stanford! I hope for the latter at least...

Not sure if I'm glad that it's not just me or what. Yeah some of those server loads over 10 are crazy. It looks to me like whatever MCP they have making matches between work (servers) and workers has gone crackers. Seems it is like 1 in 12 odds of getting some WUs on the GPU. Some servers down, others with crazy load and a few with what looks to be tons of WUs that aren't getting assigned out. I've tried restarting the GPU client a few times but it's looking like I might take this overnight to give the rig and the power bill a rest until they sort it out. I'm not close to any major milestones. Seems like a good time to do that. I'll give it a few more minutes and then make a call what to do.

Still not getting GPU WU. Getting assigned to 171.67.108.21 which shows as up. Also shows 91% for: % ASSigned G tells what percent of the last 500 WUs were assigned to that server from the GPU AS. So I'm getting pointed to a server that has work and is not showing a high load, yet still get.. [06:45:10] - Couldn't send HTTP request to server [06:45:10] + Could not connect to Work Server [06:45:10] - Attempt #6 to get work failed, and no other work to do. Waiting before retry. If they can bounce that thing it will probably take right off, or if they can bounce just listeners or what have you that might do the trick as well. EDIT: Going to take part of that back. The "net load" is 231. So I think it's more like what I was guessing in my first post. Either way, this shouldn't take a lot to get sorted if someone is on it. I'm shutting down til morning. If I can't fold on both GPU and SMP I'd rather just wait. One less client beating it's head against the server port probably not a bad thing right now either.

Basically, would it have helped them get to 1,000,000 if they had continued at that pace?
