Buy a reference and install aftermarket liquid cooling, then OC as desired?

What if he wants one with a custom pcb? and changing the cooler on a card will void you warranty probably. Just wait that's what I'm saying
The SC+ is in stock and the classified is coming soon. If you want to be notified when its stocked again, press the button "auto notify" in the shop.

Anyway, have a nice day ;)

replacing the cooler will not void your warranty..why would they sell an aftermarket hybrid cooling solution if it would void your warranty. EVGA caters to enthusiasts who put waterblocks and other aftermarket solutions on their cards with no warranty issues. As long as you return the card in original condition there is no issue.

Okay, I didnt know that ;) but still, he might want one with a custom pcb instead of aftermarket cooler.

you're new, we forgive you :-)  EVGA has the best warranty program out there.  Do what you want, just don't physically damage the card or put a bad bios on it... multi option bios cards are great for making that second statement null also, as you always have a stock bios to rely on. :-)

Keep in mind the classified is if you intend to do some serious overclocking. If you're not going to then you might as well just get the SC version.

FWIW, I'm in the exact same boat.  Ordered from Newegg...wanted 2 but there was a single card limit.  Need 1 more hydro copper.

Why do reference get a bad rep?  My reference run in the 50s and low 60s.. Also placed in the top 100 in 3dmark extreme with no bios flash and using stock coolers. They hold a 1450Mhz clock like the rest. Only 70% asic..
