Yeah, at $129 it's basically a half-off sale. I'm really tempted to grab it while I can, but my good sense says not to until I actually need a new psu. lol

I'm pretty careful about what I do online and what I download. A few years back, when I used the free version of AVG with Windows XP, I had a few problems with malware, etc., but nothing that couldn't be fixed. Since I upgraded to Windows 7 three years ago, I've only been using Microsoft Security Essentials without a single problem. It's always possible something foreign could be living in my computer without me knowing about it, but nothing that impedes performance. I just feel that third party security programs are more trouble than they are worth...no matter how cheap they are.

i disagree. im careful too but eset has caught things i doubt MSE would have. and they have blocked some bad popups that were trying to ping my pc. i love eset compared to all the programs i have tried, MSE, Mcafee, Norton, AVG, Avast, even symantecs corporate anitvirus

My company just switch from a very long relationship with NAV to ESET primarily for 'windows resource' reasons. I'm looking forward to working with ESET. My personal PC's use NAV provided by my Comcast subscription because I don't have to pay anymore for them (up to seven PC's). I don't go testing a bunch of sites that may have viruses though (ie adult entertainment and get this free allurements).
