honestly, I haven't found anything of interest (except for a few games on sale) during this hole BF/CM season at all ... all I see is out dated or low end or previous generation hardware on sale ... so far have seen only a few low capacity SSDs on good sale and that about it.

WOW! Another one what do you know. Why are they still so cheap? Is it because people are still whining about the BIOS and bad reviews? Even thou the z77 FTW board is starting to have a lot more positive reviews. I know the X79 board is having a harder time with their BIOS compared to the z77 board. But hey I think the BIOS on the z77 platform is good with my setup.

I'm sure its a combination of a few things... but I don't think bad press is one of them. My guess is most people know that refresh Socket 2011 boards are on the way. I can't say for certain what that will bring or when, but I'm personally not expecting to use my current offering when IBe finally makes its appearance. Then you have the possiblitly that Haswell will simply outperform Sandy-E.
