I get an email from them that say's the following:

"Hi Kevin,

Thanks for buying EVGA GeForce GTX 970
04G-P4-3975-KR 4GB SSC GAMING w/ACX 2.0+, Whisper Silent Cooling Graphics
Card
. Now check this out, people who bought what you bought are all
over this stuff."

*I never even bought the card, or anything lately from them. I better check my CC statement to make sure no one used it.

Well, NewEgg's domain name is registered with Network Solutions and this email.newegg.com domain appears to be setup with "Exact Target," and is more than likely a phishing attempt as the subdomain does not even retain an IP Address and is using generic Name Servers.

I got a couple more emails. Seems when I search for a product like a video card, or ram, they have sent a couple more emails saying congrats on your purchase of that product. So, it's nothing for me to worry about, but I have to admit it's a dumb email to send. Newegg needs to think of something different. They are making themselves look silly. Not to mention making people worry their CC number may have been stolen.
