I keep getting promo emails, and when I try to use the promo code, it says my email isn't valid. I don't purchase from Newegg often, but I would like to, as they have some awesome deals with the promo codes. Without the codes, I can get about the same from Amazon. Has anyone experienced this, as I would like to make use of Newegg?

Try another browser if possible. Or when using the check out enter the promotion code manually and see if that works for you.

Are you logged in when trying to use the promo code? Last time I had the problem it's because I wasn't logged in.

Comparing them on Newegg the G1 uses lower input amperage 13.5 compared to 15. The G1 weighs more. The G1 has higher output amperage's on the rails. Also the G1 has 6 6+2 pin PCI-E and 2 6 pin PCI-E where the G2 only has 6 6+2. There are some other small differences. Also the G1 I believe is 5 year warranty and the G2 is 10.

Re: Newegg - Batman Arkham Series Trilogy for $13.12 2014/09/10 06:38:12 (permalink)
All three Batman Arkham Series games for only $13.12 with a promo code (sign up for their newsletter).
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=32-777-098

It's $17.49 without the code if you don't have one. Still a darn good deal for some of my favorite games of the last few years.

Both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City are the GOTY editions, and Newegg sends you an email immediately after purchase for codes which activate on Steam.

ASUS Rampage Extreme V  2011-3 Motherboard is in stock!!!

I just ordered mine.  I recieved an email from Amazon that the expexted shipping date on this motherboard was October 16-23!! This was just yesterday.  I had also signed up for Newegg's autonotify for the same board never expecting it to show up tonight but it did and it will hopefully be here in 3 days.

I don't imagine that they will last long.  Not a bad price all things considered at $499.

I thought I would pass it along.

What is not bad price? 499$...
I would not pay over 380-390e for that board.
And price should be 400-430$...
What tomorrow if Black Edition show up they plan to ask 559-569$ for motherboard.
R5E have 8 phases I think, I say that because someone talk how EVGA came with only 10 phases.
7+1 will not stop them to hold records... But looks like and on X99 Classy CPU OC very well.
I don't know ASUS make incredible boards but I'm somehow more for durability as server boards than OC record.
I would be happiest with some board famous as SR-2. She will stay 10 years famous... If someone ask me about Maximus 3 Extreme can kill me I can't remember how she look, but SR-2 and X58 Classy everybody know... That longevity and durability  are for me more important than 10 records on LN2.

I said that it was not a bad price "all things considered" I have seen this vboard on eBay for over $1000.  I have also seen them listed at other sites (albeit out of stock) at $520.  I consider $499 and free shipping not a bad price for this board as itv stands.  I am not commenting on whether it is worth $499 or not.  I won't really know that until I actually use it for a while.

Promotion is over at the moment, either way now with the 970 out at $320 I wouldn't call a 780 hot at $369.
