Nice Nereus.  Very nice amp for speakers and headphones on this SBZ card.  Better, clearer and louder than any previous SB cards.  Drivers are very good too in both W7 & W8.  Tested both operating systems without issue and superb quality.

Great Deal.  Just be advised it is a TN panel...so viewing angles might be less...Great price none the less...

I was excited till I saw it's actually a Acer. Acer isn't exactly a great brand anymore. Still not a bad price for such a large screen.

Yes, IPS have a greater range of viewing angle.

Perhaps the 3D is appealing...

If NOT...much in agreement that for $50 more...IPS and 1440p

Brad's advice is quite sound and worth the extra 50 bucks but what I do like about the Acer is the 3 year warranty on that model

I have this model.  I've been pretty happy with it for the most part.

120hz is key, regardless of the 3D.

Viewing angles don't matter so much to me since I sit in front of my computer.

The 3D works well - though if you have a logitech 5.1 or more speaker setup, be advised that mounting the center channel speaker on the monitor will likely block the IR for the glasses unless you slide it over to the side.

The contrast is decent, brightness is decent (though sometimes a little dark in 3D), but I do see a hint of light bleed in the corners, and contrast is definitely different in those regions.  It is noticeable if you are looking for it, but not in normal use.  Other than this one issue though, everything is good.  Best monitor I've owned (admittedly, that's not saying much).

They usually do have some good deals on Black Friday. Only downside is that they usually don't have a large supply on the items, and they sell out fast. You have to be quick.    ;)

I'm very tempted to pick that 27" Monitor up...

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236295

My friend wants to buy my monitor for $150, Since it has a TV Tuner and it's 24" It's a good price even used.

That means, I'd only pay $30 for the upgrade... hmm...
