Maybe this could be a good thing. Cards and motherboards are made in china. Maybe they can get stock to the egg cheaper and faster now.

Well, that sucks. It does explain some of the more recent changes though. Like the preferred accounts getting shut down and having to re-apply for a really shady credit card deal... It's actually driven me away from using them for my parts. Their shell shocker deals have been pretty lame as well.

I have noticed price increases on memory and software deals are priced higher then they were a few weeks ago. Also there are outside venders asking insane prices, AIO refurb H60 for 140$, H110 for 180$ http://www.newegg.com/Pro...IA0AJ3V19656-_-ProductI hope people do not fall for that kind of robbery.

as for newegg being bought by a Chinese company... hmm, everything I can think to say about it would be a bit close to politics I guess? New ownership isn't anything new however, company A buys company B all the time. though I do wonder why they bought 55 percent instead of just acquiring the minimum controlling ownership of just over 50 percent.

I would imagine that is why you were unofficially warned because its not a true rule violation but a personal paradigm violation by a over zealous mod, which is why it got stepped on. Trust me, there will be more crap in these forums!! :P edit: Besides all that, Crap was the guy who invented the auto siphon for toilets too I believe, which is why it has the reference it has. You cant ban history, that's just wrong.
