Looks like evga just released a new dt 1080 classified with lower clocks for $20 cheaper. Sku 137695. Part # 08G-P4-6384-KR

Stock clocks of 1607 and boost of 1733mhz.

So just a heads up if your hunting for a 1080 classified and might think it's a deal of a price and have no idea it's a lower clocked variant! Pretty crappy that mc lists it with the same name but just lower price.. it should be 1080 dt (down tuned) classified like on the other 1080 dt ftw card they sell.

Intel i9 9900K @ 5.2Ghz Single HUGE Custom Water Loop.
Asus Z390 ROG Extreme XI MB
G.Skill Trident Z 32GB (4x8GB) 4266MHz DDR4
EVGA 2080ti K|NGP|N w/ Hydro Copper block.
34" Dell Alienware AW3418DW 1440 Ultra Wide GSync Monitor
Thermaltake Core P7 Modded w/ 2x EK Dual D5 pump top,2 x EK XE 480 2X 360 rads.1 Corsair 520 Rad.

I see this "EVGA GeForce GTX 1080/1070 FTW HYBRID" but not a second GTX 1080 Classified DT Card.
It may just not me post on their website. http://www.evga.com/about/pressrelease/

AHowes, the DT ftw's have been outclocking the standard ftw fairly often, so thinking the DT is bad just because it doesn't have the boosted clocks may prove wrong.

Heck, the DT FTW'S were showing standard, untouched clocks, over 1950 on most cards, which was equal to or higher than full ftw's.

Also, where are you seeing them? Microcenter isn't showing them on their online store, Newegg isn't showing anything, and evga webstore isn't either.

Strange that I searched Microcenter.com by part number, and it only came up with regular classified. Thank you for the link.

Maybe a card only for MicroCenter? 08G-P4-6384-KR that is.

Show both cards. 08G-P4-6384-KR is not on Newegg or Amazon or B&H.

I had requested information from EVGA the other day, no response yet. This appears to be identical to the 08G-P4-6284-KR which sells for $649.99. Hopefully they clear this up soon. I am in the market, but have a budget and the last thing I want is to over pay! I can tolerate a $5 - $10 variance, but not a $50 variance.

Yeah just noticed the price lowered even mode yesterday and they updated the name with dt.
Personally I'd still not touch the dt card. Better odds with a normal classified.
