Hi guys , do you think this 34" monitor is good for gaming to compare to the same type when it is available on market this September !?

There has been much discussion on this in a couple of other threads.  It is the monitor I have personally been waiting for (it is why I bought a Titan).   Some think not going 144Hz is a mistake.  Others think the G-sync is the winner.  Some say you can't do without both once you know what you have been missing.

I personally love the color of IPS and I am definitely a fan of the 21:9 format after I bought my first.  I just wonder how much difference being 75Hz and G-sync will make.  I guess I will see in August/September.

What use is knowledge if there is no understanding?~Stobaeus

I've been using the LG 21:1 29EA93 ( very first generation of this type for almost 2 years ) but I still feel the lag and delay while gaming online. But I hope this new innovation of Acer will bring a better performing to folks ( I love the look  zero frame of screen) I also hope Samsung and LG will have the same type as competitors at same time for folks to choose ( still like the Samsung and LG :-)). But let's see !!

This monitor is exactly what I've been waiting for but I can live without the curved panel.  There are some gamers who feel they get a lot of value out of a higher refresh rate in FPS's so it may or may not affect you depending on the titles you play and preferrence.  Should be great otherwise.

I'll just be waiting for that price to drop just a bit.
