I have no idea why the Tracker would detect a CPU incorrectly, and then work correctly later with no changes. This is most likely caused by something about your system configuration. Could you post your full system specs please? I might be able to figure out what happened.

Although I'm OC at 3.4, I noticed that Tracker is showing 2.7. Perhaps Tracker is having an issue with detecting the CPU?

My tracker does something like this as well, it sees my i7 at 2.93 Ghz (default core freq) but while I fold the computer shows the OC that I'm running. My system monitor does the same thing until I start core temp then it shows the correct numbers. I wonder if that is why I'm having trouble getting bigadv on the 875K, it thinks my OC is too low. I'm betting it's really just luck of the draw. But the tracker must be reading a default system setting somewhere. Not that it's a big deal to me, just something interesting to note.

well, i just started up my compy after a full nights rest and started folding, task manager is showing all 8 cores working at 100%, at about 60% on a 6701 WU. so everything looks fine i think. Temps are looking good 54c on my highest core, about 53 on the others. Now i just have to start overclocking my rig..... my nightmare... haha, i hope i dont mess it up.

Yeah... pull the blanket over your head. 8^) You're lucky if the Fermi doesn't squeel. That will definitely keep you up... if not turn you crazy. Everything else running fine?
