Edit: already found. I had to change it via the Rosetta website, not through BOINC itself.

Welcome aboard. Let me know if you need help with anything.

If my computer can process work on my graphics card, then please send me work to run on my graphics card for the projects that I have selected above.

Since when did this happen with WCG?

In early March WCG did a Boinc server software upgrade, part of which enabled GPU processing.  They are intermittently sending out Beta work for the GPU to test GPU processing of the Help Conquer Cancer project.  To opt in to hopefully receive GPU work when available, you need to check the box you quoted, and also be opted in to Beta testing which is found under the My Grid menu as well.  There is currently a GPU Support Forum where you can get a feel for how various GPUs perform or what you may want to crunch on.

At some point, there will be GPU crunching for Help Conquer Cancer.  For now, however, I think they're going to proceed carefully and use quite a few rounds of Beta testing.  Whenever they do drop the flag on GPU for HCC, you'll want to make sure you are opted in to the HCC project to receive GPU work.

None of us is as strong as all of us.

Hello everyone. I have just joined the cruching@EVGA team. Started today. Other than creating a log in and downloadind/installing and running the program, is there anything I need to do? I followed the guide but I've read some other posts where people are following specific crunches that crunching@evga is doing? Do I have to do those too?

When the option was there as to what I wanted to crunch for, i selected all.

Welcome to the EVGA Crunching Team JaskarnSidhu!!  One of the really nice things about Crunching is that you get to pick the projects that you want to work.  There are (12) Active Projects over at WCG and then many more at the BOINC website.  Sometimes, we will go on a Strike Force activity to target a particular project(s) as a Team, but even then it is up to you to do what you want to do.  Lots of variety here depending on what interests you.

Figured I'd drop in and splatter a few units up on the board.  Don't think I'm done with Folding, but figured I could tinker in running a little of this and a little of that.

Tinkering is good!  Welcome.

When Madrias "tinkers" bad things happen like randoms fires in colorado and wyoming and the occasional tidal wave in japan that wipes out hdd manufacturing facilities lol

Actually, my temps are down a bit.  I'll try not to play with the weather changing machines, though.

There goes the neighborhood

I'm back as well. Replaced the hard drive on my laptop a couple months back, and never got WCG reloaded. Well it is now. And here we go again.

Why do I feel the need to go out and find me a little underground silo somewhere and hunker down?

There is an old military bunker just a couple miles from my house. And an old Nike missle base a little farther away. I should be covered.
