I've been folding for about 5 years off and on, but decided to get more serious about it. Heard about the EVGA Bucks, so here I am. Can someone confirm that I am setup properly? My name is the same name I used as a user name when signing up with EVGA. Is that correct? Also went into my EVGA profile and added my "EVGA Folding Name", which I assume should be my name as well. Also, can someone tell me any secrets in the client that should be set up? Flags for better work units? Things that could maximize my PPD and GPU performance.

+1 Beside I believe ---->Flags for better work units? ---> is against the rules I've had 3 hour blocks in the 300K and other 3 hour blocks over 1M points, those work units are all over the place

Glad to be here. i7-6700k, overclocked to 4.4 for now. Could get it to 4.5, but 1.4v is a little high for me and that's about what it needs to be stable. I did not win the silicon lottery with this one. MSI (Don't kill me EVGA) GTX 1070 Gaming X 8G. Running around 1950MHz OC

I saw someone had suggested adding into the GPU config.. Client-type beta and max-packet-size big Not sure what those do and if they're even necessary.

My machine is going at around 600K PPD. GPU only, I removed the CPU slot. I think it's just crazy because my old machine a few years ago was running a GTX 660, and I think I was getting like 50K PPD, maybe? Insane what the new stuff is doing. I'm thinking it took me a couple years, off and on, to get over 2 million points (I was really happy to hit that milestone) and here I am going to get that in a few days lol

Not trying to break any rules, I guess that was a bad description, "flags for better work units" I just read some things about getting stuck with certain work units that cause issues, and so you should put flags to avoid those. Or flags to get more advanced WU's, because I had more powerful equipment. Not sure though, I'm not an expert when it comes to folding, I just like doing it

I remember using this for the BigAdv CPU Tasks back when but not for GPU. max-packet-size big Remember that if you do use the Beta setting and your projects crash you are out of luck and is really no longer needed as Core 15 are no more. Client-type beta If any setting you could use this client-type advanced But then again you may have run into issues as well. The next Core 22 when they do start working on them and you might want to join the Beta Group if approved by them and then start using the Beta Flag.
