Good evening all,
Just got my GTX 970 SSC ACX 2.0 and got it installed. One bonus was it already had the new bios installed. One less thing for me to fiddle with. Everything went smooth and then I loaded the Heaven benchmark and as soon as I started it, this really annoying coil whine reared it's ugly head. it is not the mild barely noticeable whine, but a full blown whine. I was so hoping to be one of the lucky ones :( I haven't tried any games out yet to see if it whines during those or not. I've been reading about it on the forums and am going to run the benchmark for a good period of time to see if it helps the whine out. I'm not resolved to try and RMA just yet. The card is great, noticeably smaller than the GTX770 it is replacing. Overall I'm pretty happy with it right now. I also wanted to say thanks to all the knowledgeable folks out there on the forum that take the time to try and help out those in need. :)
