Shouldn't helpful post only be allowed to be selected by the OP?

I think this version has an "answered" function - not sure if that's in now or what, but that would take the place of helpful where only the OP can mark it.

That said, the helpful color and styling should change, it seems totally different from the rest of the grays. Maybe just an orange border?

At the top submenu, click posts, and in the top of that dropdown you'll see it.

Main thing I hate is the color contrast. Gray on white kills your eyes for reading. SOFT please.

The rest I can deal with, but how am I supposed to participate in a forum when reading it is now the hardest part?

Everyone quit talking about the appearance!  EVGA knows the appearance needs work.  They want you to test out the features and let them know if you find bugs.  EVGA doesn't not care at all about your post after post about how much you dislike the appearance.

I like essentials only and mobile version a lot.  Great features!

MODS RIGS button under name -> links to improper system ( for me at least  )

It is supposed to link to  http://www.modsrigs.com/detail.aspx?BuildID=30690    but the click takes you to  http://www.modsrigs.com/detail.aspx?BuildID=25087

..and YES i checked, the  "AsrockX79&AMD7970" system is set to be 'primary rig' in the options to make it be my link.

I even unclicked it, reset it and saved it to check .

I have always wondered why EVGA chose to stay with ASP.NET instead of moving over to a Linux compatible system such as Apache server and PHP.  Linux certainly is arguably the best server operating system.

I am sure EVGA will fix the appearance issue later.  They already said they would.  What about the features?  Have you tried the mobile version?  Have you found any new features you like or features you don't like?  Have you found any bugs?

I like how the forum now uses a lot of AJAX to change specific page content based on user interaction without having to reload the entire page again.  This forum is a lot more modern if you quit focusing on the fact the appearance "looks old".

ty_ger07,

What is the matter you speak of?  I represent myself when I say that this forum is a lot more modern by the heavy use of AJAX.  I also represent myself when I say that the mobile version is a big improvement.  Finally, I reiterate what EVGA said when they said that the appearance will be changed later and reiterate what they said when they asked you to test out the features and look for bugs.  If EVGA acknowledges that they are not happy with the appearance, why keep complaining about it?

BTW, new bug spotted.  There is no bbcode underline button in some instances such as when you quote someone or use quick reply.

Alright, guys, let's cool it down a bit.  The arguing/personal attacks in this thread are unnecessary, and far off-topic when it comes to reporting bugs.  EVGA does care about what you guys post, but bug fixes and other issues affecting privacy, settings, profile issues, etc. will take priority over the cosmetic aspects of the forum.  That's what this particular thread is for, rather than simply general comments on likes and dislikes (yes, that includes specific comments on likes/dislikes, as well).

Instead, I'd suggest you continue commenting on what you like/dislike over in this thread:  http://forums.evga.com/tm.aspx?m=2025101

This way, EVGA has an easier time reviewing bug reports that may affect everyone, and not miss one hiding among all the other posts in here.

Also it looks like ya'll need to turn off the helpful post thing. Set it to OP only like it was before... these animals can't be trusted!

Not everyone has a widescreen monitor or high resolution monitor, thats why that margin limit is set, I doubt they will fix it.
